Untitled

I wish upon the stars. But, all they do is shine.
If it is written in the stars, why can't I find the lines?
I look through rose colored glasses, but all I
see is pink.
People tell me what they know and
don't ask me what I think.

The rainbow's connection, I pray, will find
someday. So, the lovers and dreamers can be
free. And, over that rainbow I hope the bluebirds
have a song for me.

When I do more than wish upon the stars
and finally find the lines. I can read what is
written and find the star that is mine.
