MARIO RESOURCE IS BACK
5th June 2009
I said in April that I thought it was the end of the line for Mario Resource. Well now the exams are over I think I might re-open it. This time round I feel it will be more news based with some game information being added. I don't really think there is anything else to say on the re-opening, I best start reporting what happened and was announced in relation to Mario at E3 2009.
WARIOWARE: SNAPPED!
3rd April 2009
Edit: Available Now in Europe
After saying yesterday I would only be updating the news, today I have added some game content. WarioWare: Snapped!, was released in Japan last December and is to be released sometime this year in North America, in other regions the game is yet to be announced. Today I have added some brief game information and storyline as well as 6 screenshots of the game.
As well as this I have converted the DSiWare page into the new format. I haven't yet changed the Chotto Dr. Mario page, I might do that later on today or this weekend. Heres the links to the various pages:
- DSiWare Home
- WarioWare: Snapped! - INFO
- WarioWare: Snapped! - SCREENSHOTS
STILL HERE
2nd April 2009
News recently has been a little quiet. There wasn't any major Mario announcements from Nintendo at the recent Game Developers' Conference last month. However it has been announced that 3 WarioWare titles will be released on tomorrow (3rd April) to coincide with the launch of the DSi in Europe. The titles include WarioWare: Snapped!, Paper Plane and PYORO. A reminder of those all important DSi launch dates:
- AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND - 2nd April
- EUROPE - 3rd April
- NORTH AMERICA - 5th April
DSi Colours
AUSTRALIA & NZ - White and Black
EUROPE - White, Black and Blue
NORTH AMERICA - Black and Blue
Thats all the news for now. I am on Easter Holidays now until 20th April 2009. During the holidays and after it is an important time for me due to GCSE examinations. This means the site will not be getting any updates content-wise until after them. I may update the new from time to time. So after my last exam on the 11th June 2009 (History), I will try to start updating again.
SOME SITE CHANGES
22nd March 2009
Over the weekend I have been doing some site maintenance work. I have been converting a few more pages to the format. In addition to this I am going to make the Game Info pages easier to use.

I have introduced the tabbed browsing onto one page at the moment (Mario & Luigi RPG 3 page). The reason for doing this is because as I add information onto the Games pages, the page was getting longer and longer. The new format helps you select a particular area of information without trawling though reams of irrelevant (hmm..) information!
SUPER MARIO, A BAFTA WINNER
14th March 2009
I'm a few days late in saying this but on Tuesday evening, hit Nintendo Wii game, Super Mario Galaxy, won game of the year at the Video Game BAFTAs. The event, held earlier in the week saw the surprise winner, take the biggest award of the ceremony. Other awards which went to Nintendo related games included Professor Layton and the Curious Village (Best Handheld Game) and Boom Blox (Best Casual Game).
Being British I feel the need to report the success of British game developers too. Codemasters work with Race Driver: GRID paid off as they took home best Sports game. Codemasters may I add is based just down the road from me here in Warwickshire. Also, I was glad to see Lionhead Studios take an award for the brilliant Fable 2 home. The action, fantasy title took home the award for Best Action/ Adventure.
Other News
- New Play Control: Mario Power Tennis was released in Europe on 6th March 2009.
- I'm continuing to convert pages across to the new format. All current pages should still work, however, if the page you want to visit isnt working then it may be a broken link or have been taken offline for a short time.
