MARIO & SONIC AT THE OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES

It was announced in February 2009 that there would be a sequel to the popular Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. The announcement brought an end to weeks of rumours and speculation, and also gave a teaser clip of the upcoming title. In the clip, the camera is shown flying over the mountains then showing Mario, Wario, Sonic & Dr. Eggman leaving the starting gate of an event with Mario and Sonic taking the lead. The game will be set in both Vancouver and Whistler, which are the hosts of the 2010 Winter Olympics. It's also been confirmed that the Wii version of the game will make use of the Wii Balance Board.
