ABOUT THE NINTENDO DS

The Nintendo DS was released back in 2004. The handheld has two screen, one of which is a touch screen. The touch screen is used quite a bit in Mario games. For instance, Mario Vs. Donkey Kong 2 relies on the stylus and touch to play. The original DS & the DS Lite both have a GBA cartridge slot. The new Nintendo DSi got rid of this for an SD card slot. The DS is also wireless and allows online gameplay through the Nintendo Wi-Fi service. The DSi has an online downloadable service, DSiWare, which lets the user download applications and games for a fee.
