The History of Mario Kart.

Super Mario Kart.

I remember playing this years ago on my snes. i still play it actually. the game that started one of the best racing series ever in all it's 16 bit glory. The graphics were fantestic at the time, and the gameplay was top notch.  I would sit for hours and play this game. i sucked at it, but it didn't take away any of the fun. This was one of my favourite games. then along comes the N64 with Mario Kart 64.......

Mario Kart 64.

Mario Kart makes a 3D jump. Nintendo didn't just make Super Mario Kart 3D with the same tracks and Karts either. New Characters like Wario with loads of new tracks like Wario stadium. the character and karts were 2D sprites, but Nintendo did them in such a way that they looked 3D. The gameplay of the first was back with a vengeance, with a total visual rehaul. Nintendo made a fantast game better. Time for Mario Kart to go portable........

Mario Kart: Super Circuit.

Karting-the portable way! The latest form of Mario Kart, until DD that is, came to nintendo's portable console-the Gameboy Advance. This was like Super Mario Kart gone portable, with 32 bit graphics! This was the best version IMO, because you sould play MK at anytime, anywhere, as long as you had alot of batteries and a light source somewhere. Mario Kart had come back again-portable style!

Will MK:DD live up to the legacy? I hope so.
