hey yall what up! this is sarah a.k.a. LiL BiT to everyone else and The FeMaLe to my MARINE...there is no method to my madness or to what ends up on this site.  But for those who are interested....

I am a Junior at Conner High School (yes it sucks just like every other school).   Everyone gets into everyone else's business and can't stay out of everyone else's life. I write poetry, draw, and play on my 6 stringed git-fiddle (guitar).  I know a lot of people but have a few very close friends. most of them are guys i don't know why though; i don't get along with most girls very well. MOST of them (i think )don't know how to shut their mouths and stick with their OWN boyfriend. some just talk way to much and others just like to start shit with other people involved . Others are just too worried about what other people will think. Some just don't know how to have some real fun.

I love to create chaos and be a menice to society. there are only so many hours in a day... I'm not scared of anything(unless i have a reason to be).

where do i start...
 you were a junior i was a freshman when we first met. I was the shy, wild one sitting in the corner.you were yet another timid, crazy one to add to the bunch. britney forgives me for dating you now but regardless of that we still would've been dating , as we are now. at this time we have been dating for five months and i am loving everything about our relationship. We have had one minor bump in the road but that made us stronger.  I didn't know if you were really serious or not at first, but after that did happen, i knew it was true. 
I remember the night my dad first met you....GOD...good times. i remember how freaked out you were after that (he he).  we weren't even dating then but we were truly having fun. there are so many great and hilarious memories with you. these five months have flown by so fast but i hope we stay together for much longer.  daniel is jealous because he knows i am so much happier with you than i ever could've been with him.  I need to stay away from him cuz all he ever did was get me in trouble. 
today is July 17, 2004.  you only have seven weeks left of boot camp. that means seven weeks till i get to see you in parris island, sc. but you don't know i'm going down there to see you on september 8, 9, 10, and 11.  that will be so great to see your face when i'm down there with you. i'ma jump on you when i see you.
i miss you sooooomuch. It's so lonely here without you. But i will be strong with just memories of you.  i hope you have lots of fun while you are down there.

Well it's September 14th now... There's been so much that's happened while you were away from me... You had to get stitches... and then you fractured your foot and now its 8 days after the original day i was supposed to see you graduate.  Ho Hum... i miss you bunches and i think of you every day. I know its hard to think that you could be here with me right now but  now you have only 4 and a half weeks left till we see each other again. I can't wait for that day to come :-).

I miss you sooooo much. i love you so much babe and i am on my very best behavior.
It's been so hard here without you. school started back up and it feels the same except i dont get to see you every day. i'm getting a class ring this year. its ultrium. it has a white sapphire stone. The one side has a cougar and the other has my zodiac sign on it. I think it'll be awesome. I also joined a club-thingy called the Cougar Crew. i think it's supposed to be like pep club but i dont know yet..i will soon find out .

Homecoming is the 24th which is next week on friday. I get to be in the homecoming parade again this year! yay! i just wish you were there to see me in it. but i will take pictures and send them to you soon. your mom and dad miss you very much too.

but i guess i will let you go back to your training and all of that junk you like down there...

I have already seen you if you are reading this right now. I have gone to see you in South Carolina. I saw you get your Eagle, Globe, and Anchor.That was October 14. I saw you graduate. That was October 15. it was rainy and very cold that day but i wore a dress AND wore my hair down just for you. I was so speechless when i first saw you. Absolutely Speechless. You have no idea what was going thru my mind. And now today is October 25, 2004.  You left today. it was the last day of your 10 day leave.  I watched you walk from the gate to the security check. I tried so hard to keep from crying (all 3 times) but no dice. I will see you soon my devil dog. I will see you on Thanksgiving.
I'm truly sorry for what i have done to you.  There is no way to make up for it, but i am trying my best to prove it to you once more that i love you with all my heart and soul.  Believe me i wish i could take it all back now.. but its done and over with, can't change the past, we can only look forward to the future and what may become of us. Its been 8 months and counting now... lets see if we can last A LOT longer.

I will see you at Thanksgiving. Be sure to see me at the airport, Waiting for you...

Hey baby! today is December 1, 2004. There are only twenty more days till i get to see you again. I've been talkin to matt and i think he's gonna help me pick out your christmas gift(s).he also said that went thru the same thing you are going thru right now so stiffen that upper lip, heel up, and get out. Winter Ball is supposed to be on December11 but i'm not going. I won't have my marine by my side, there's no point to it.You were right when you said it gets harder after we see each other, every time it does.but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I got my class ring today. i think it's beautiful i wish you could see it . i miss you so much. but i will see you soon enough. I've started to buy christmas stuff already. I gotta buy for you, your mom and dad, and my cousin jacob. It will be 10 months that we will be together this week. i can't believe it's been this long. I truly don't know what i'd be doing, or how my life would be so great if you hadn't came along.  I want to truly thank you for being you. for being there. for being open towards me and being so understanding. i think about how happy i am with you and i start to cry with a smile on my face and love in my heart. i can trust you with my life and let god forbid anything ever happen to you.  you are in my thoughts every second of the day, in my prayers and in my dreams at night. But enough of this... i have to be going. I will write again soon.

Hey baby! today is January 20, 2005 I don't know when the next time i'll see you will be , but i hope it's soon. You came home on the night of December 22nd. that was such a wonderful surprise. that night out we had was wonderful, i hope we can have more of those. you left on the 2nd and we started school on the 3rd. there's still some christmas presents waiting here for you. I hope you liked all the other things i got you for christmas. I love the shirt you got me. i wear as much as i can along with the other 2 shirts and my hoodie .I wear your coat, ring, and pendant you gave me everyday. It gets harder every time you leave, but i have it in my mind and in my heart that i want to be with you and only you. i know how your mama must feel now, except its worse. there's so much around me that reminds me of you. i think of you every single second we are apart.

All of the things that i've seen of Iraq on tv are only half of what you will experience while you serve your time in the SaNdBoX. It scares me so much to think that you will be over there very shortly. all the experiences you'll have... War changes people. i hope it doesn't change you too much. You're still the same MARINE that i would do anything for. I just hope and pray that whatever you want, and whatever you need, that you should get it. I pray for a safe return (that means INTACT & ALIVE). I hope that we can share those many experiences together. It makes me happy to be with you,  giving you strength, to do what you must for us here at home.

Just keep me in your heart while your down there and i will do the same here. keep your chin up and be strong for me.

Hey baby what you been up to? Not too much jus chillin in v-school. Today is Valentine's Day. you came home this past weekend!!! You showed up at my house at about midnight and i was in bed. I couldn't even see who you were. You got me good this time! I wish you could've stayed until tomorrow but at least you will be able to come home soon again. I think you will be able to come home around easter. i went over sha's house last night i missed you so much! i got to talk to jon greenley too. i think justyne and paul broke up too.
i thought that concert we went to on saturday was fuckin KICK ASS! i'm glad you liked it. that's all that really counts. we had fun together. you met some new people and still kept in touch with your old ones. i thought dan was pretty cool. alex was givin this weird vibe off when i hung out at your house on thursday. jon pauly really seemed to like you. i thought that night was pretty fuckin sweet. you got to see everybody. i asked sha and she said it was up to me. so you got your answer. i went out and bought the new jay-z and linkin park cd and the new 3 doors down cd. i have to go to the dentist's today. its gonna suck. but i will see you soon!!!

Its been one whole year now! I hope we have many more together....

    I never thought I would get used to you being in the Marines, but after I saw you straight from boot I knew you were a different man. I knew you would change but I never imagined it like that. I can't say this has been the easiest situation nor is it any way I would want to spend our time together but I can say that I believe we can make it thru a year being apart, we can do anything.

    I realize now that this is just a short period of time compared with the possibility of spending our lives together.

    I realize the pain I feel for you while you are away is being spent helping other people who need it.

    I realize now it's okay to cry, it's okay to be upset, and it's okay to miss you every single day you're gone.

    I realize that your family along with me, will stand by you, help you thru whatever, cry with you, and lend a shoulder or a helping hand.

    I realize now that the saying is true: "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."

    I realize now I'm not the only one in this position, that others feel the pain that I do.

    I realize now that not only have the Marines made you a stronger person, but they've also made me a stronger person....

Hey baby its me again! Today is May 12th and we now have a total of 6 days of school left!!!  Prom was on April 16th and you couldn't have looked better. That was an extremely good time that i had. It was a lot better than i had hoped it to be and it was very special and it was all because of you. Monday was the big 17th birthday! and I am so glad i got to share it with you, shannon, my mother and my sister.  I really wished my dad would've come with us but thats his loss an he will continue his drinking...

but enough about that...
this summer is going to be great especially because i'm going to have you here.

Hey my little jessafer! How you doin'? I'm still so very tired from the lack of sleep. I tried to sleep my best last night but it was no use because you weren't by my side. I miss seeing you all the time. I've seen in the past few days how just those 7 little hours makes you miss me that much more. I loved it the other night i fell asleep in your car and you helped me inside. I took my shoes off, laid on your bed, and just let you sit there and hold me until i fell asleep again. I love it when you do that.
 Today is August 24. School started on monday the 22. This is my last year of high school. It surprises me how quickly it's gone by. 4 years have gone so fast. I'm taking windows 2000 professional, intro to english 4, practical living and ceramics this semester and psychology, english 4, spanish 2, and ceramics 2 next semester. I'm curious as to how much time we will get with each other because i have school and work now.
This past summer was great. I only worked up until June 15 and then put in my two weeks.  i started back at the Gap on monday and I go back today to finish my training. 4 hours of videos, workmats, paperwork, cash register and credit card work. I'm going to see if I can get the 4th off of work so i can go to the WEBN fireworks with you an alex.
I'm sure it will be fun with all of us together.

Hey sweetie! What's going on? Not too much here just in first tryin to find somethin to do. Last time i wrote was when school had just started. Now its November 14, 2005. Your birthday was on the 3rd... how does it feel to be 20? I'm sorry i been fallin asleep at your house alot lately. i can't help it. i don't sleep in school anymore. i ordered all my gradation stuff already. we won't get it till spring tho. too bad i don't have my job at the gap anymore or else we would've gone to the senior dinner dance that was this weekend... o well there's still prom...

anyways... wats been up with you lately? you've been kinda moody and your startin to freak out on me. i feel like you don't trust me or you doubt wat we are. i also feel that you treat me like a lil kid. i hate it when you do that and when you try to control wat i do, where i go, who i hang out wit and shit like that. like the other night when i was gonna hang out wit sha' i had to ask permission to go wit her. if you keep actin like that i will start spending less time with you so i won't have to be around that. i don't wanna have to do that. i love you with all my heart but i can't put myself in that kind of environment. i have had too many friends that have had boyfriends that turned into control freaks and have stalked them. i don't need it.

thanksgiving is only ten days away. Christmas is only 42 days away. i think i already know wat im'a get ya for that. i don't care if you get me anything or not i will be with you for christmas all day.

* A Baptist was seated next to a Marine on a flight to Memphis, TN. After the plane was airborne, drink orders were taken.  The Marine asked for a scotch and soda, which was brought and placed before him.  the flight attendant then asked the minister if he would like a drink.  He replied in disgust, "I'd rather be savagely raped by brazen whores than let liquor touch my lips." 
The Marine then handed his drink back to the flight attendant and said, "Me too. I didn't know we had a choice!"

* As the sun rose over Parris Island, the Senior Drill Instructor realized that one of his recruits had gone AWOL (away without leave). A search party was dispatched immediately. After a few hours the recruit was discovered hiding in some bushes.  He was sent back to the base and promptly escorted to the drill instructor's office.  the instructor asked the recruit, "Why did you go AWOL?"
The recruit replied, "My first day here you issued me a comb, and then procceded to cut my hair off.  The second day you issued me a toothbrush, and sent me to the dentist, who procceded to pull all my teeth. The third day you issued me a jock strap, and i wasn't about to stick around and find out what would follow that SIR."

* Boot Camp and Beyond

1. The key to success in the Marine  Corps is your attitude. Nothing else is as important! With the right attitude, there is no obstacle you cannot overcome.
2. Develop your own self-confidence. DO NOT defeat yourself before you begin.
3. Set goals that you know are within your capabilityto achieve then set several more which you may have to really pop your cords to reach, that are perhaps in the stars. It is in striving for something worthwhile that you will grow.
4. Those things that hurt us help us.your body enjoys ease and comfort. But, you must control it, not allowing it to control you.
5. Do not take counsel of your fears. They are common to everyone. The task at hand is to learn how to control them. The mind has a perculiar way of exaggerating them 10 to 20 times their actual size.
6. Have no dealings with self-pity as it leads only to destruction. You are an adult who has put away childish things. You will stand tall because it is expected.
7. DO NOT VOLUNTEER FOR ANYTHING.
8. Salute and sir everyone except the cat.
9. Learn swift and  unerring obedience. He who is not fit to obey is not fit to command.
10. Always keep your valuables under lock and key. Every outfit seems to have at least one sticky-fingers.
11. Avoid drugs and cigarettes like the plague.
12. Camp followers have been a part of the military for 1,000's of years. Their only interest is your money. They breed sickness, disease, death! He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being an adult!
13. Always stay alert on a guard post.
14. Never absent yourself from where you are supposed to be without official permission.
15. Never be late in reporting for duty from liberty or leave. If you find you will be unaviodably late, always call ahead by phoneand inform when you will return.
16. Duty-Honor-Country. They are watchwords for our continuing freedoms. Sadly, by many they are now held in contempt or ignored as old fashioned and unworthy of observance. Also sadly, too many of  your countrymen beleive their only duty is to themselves, that in the end all of life is pleasure, comfort, ease, and that the risk and sacrifice for any other reason than oneself is a ridiculous concept.
17. America is really the last hope of the free world. If we fall, assuredly the darkness will descend.
    

* Gunfights: USMC VS. USN

USMC Rules for gunfighting

1.  Bring a gun.  Preferably two guns.  Bring all of your friends who have guns.
2. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice.  Ammo is cheap. Life is expensive.
3. Only hits count.  The only thing worse than a miss is a slow miss.
4. Move away from your attacker.  Distance is your friend. (Lateral and diagonal movement are preferred)
5. If you can choose what to bring to a gunfight, bring a long gun and a friend with a long gun.
6. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber or tatics.  They will only remember who lived.
7. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating, reloading, and running.
8. Use a gun that works EVERY TIME. "All skill is in vain when an angel pisses in the flintlock of your musket."
9. Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat to death with it because it is empty.
10. Always cheat; always win. the only unfair fight is the one you lose.
11. Have a plan.
12. Have a back-up plan, because the first one won't work.
13. Use cover or concealment as much as possible.
14. Flank your  adversary when possible and always protect yours.
15. Never drop your guard.
16. Always tactical load and threat scan 360 degrees
17. Watch their hands. Hands kill. (In God we trust... everyone else keep your hands where i can see them.)
18. Decide to be aggressive ENOUGH, quickly ENOUGH... hesitaion kills.
19. The faster you finish the fight, the less injured you will get.
20. Be polite. Be professional. And have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
21. Be courteous to everyone, friendly to no one.
22. Yor number one option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to aviodance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
23. Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun the caliber of which does not start with a "4".

* Sergent Major

• Two Sergent Majors were walking across campus when one said, "Where did you get such a great bike?" the second Sergent Major replied, "Well i was walking along yesterday, minding my own business, when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike.  She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, "Take what you want." The other Sergent Major nodded approvingly, "Good choice; The clothes probably wouldn't have fit."
• To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty. To the Sergent Major, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
• A Pastor, a Doctor, and a Sergent Major were waiting one morning for one particularly slow goup of golfers. The Sergent Major fumed," What's with these guys? The Doctor said, "Good idea. and I'm going to contact my ophthalmologist buddy and see if there's anything he can do for them." The Sergent Major said, "Why can't these guys play at night?"
• There was a Sergent Major who had an exceptional gift for fixing all things mechanical. After serving in the Army loyally for 30 years, he happily retired. Several years later, the Army contacted him regarding a seemingly impossible problem they were having with one of their multimillion-dollar machines.  They had tried everything and everyone else to get the machine to work but to no avail.  In desperation they called the Sergent Major, who had solved so many of their problems in the past. The Sergent Major reluctantly took the challenge. He spent a day studying the huge machine.  At the end of the day, he marked a small "x"  in chalk on a particular component of the machine and stated, "This is where your problem is." The part was replaced and the machine worked perfectly again.  The Army received a bill for $50,000 from the Sergent Major for the service. The Army demanded an itemized accounting of his charges. The Sergent Major responded breifly: one chalk mark - $1.00. Knowing where to put it - $49,999. It was paid in full and the Sergent Major retired again in peace.
• "Normal people beleive that if it isn't broken, don't fix it. Sergent Majors beleive that if it isn't broken, it doesn't have enough features yet."
• An Architect, an Artist and a Sergent Major were discussing whether it was better to spend time with the wife or a mistress.  The Architect said he enjoyed time with his wife, builing a solid foundation for an enduring relationship. The Artist said he enjoyed time with his mistress, because of the passion and mystery he found there.  The Sergent Major said, "I like both."

• A Sergent Major was crossing a road one day when a frog called out to him and said, "If you kiss me, I'll turn into a beautiful princess". He bent over, picked up the frog and put it in his pocket.  The frog spoke up again and said, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with you for one week." The Sergent Major took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it and then returned it to his pocket. The frog then cried out, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess, I'll stay with you for one week and do ANYTHING you want." Again the Sergent Major took the frog out, smiled at it and put it back in his pocket. Finally the frog asked, "What is the matter? I've told you I'm a beautiful princess, that I'll stay with you for a week and do anything you want. Why won't you kiss me ?"  The Sergent Major said, "Look I am a Sergent Major. I don't have time for a girlfriend, but a talking frog,  now that's cool."

* Their Last Request

CBS News Anchor Dan Rather, NPR Reporter Cookie Roberts and a U.S. Marine were all hiking through the desert one day when they were captured by Iraqis.

They were tied up, led to the village and brought before the leader.  The leader said, "I am familiar with your western custom of granting the condemned a last wish.  Before we kill and dismemeber you, do you have any last requests?"

Dan Rather said, "Well I'm a Texan, so I'd like one last bowlful of hot, spicy chili."  the leader nodded to an underling who left and returned with the chili. Rather ate it all and said, "Now I can die content."

Cookie Roberts said, "I'm a reporter to the end. I want to take out my tape recorder and describe the scene here and what's about to happen. Maybe someday someone will hear it and know that I was on the job 'til the end."  the leader directed an aide to hand over the tape recorder and Roberts dictated some comments. She then said, "Now I can die happy."

The leader turned and said, "And now, Mr. U.S. Marine, what is your final wish?"
"Kick me in the ass," said the Marine
"What?" asked the leader. "Will you mock us in your last hour?"
"No, I'm not kidding.  I want you to kick me in the ass," insisted the Marine. So the leader shoved him out into the open, and kicked him in the ass.  The Marine went sprawling, but rolled to his knees, pulled a 9-mm pistol from inside his cammies, and shot the leader dead.  In the resulting confusion, he lept to his knapsack, pulled out his M4 carbine, and sprayed the Iraqis with gunfire. In a flash, the Iraqis were dead or fleeing for their lives.
As the Marine was untying Rather and Roberts, they asked him,"Why didn't you just shoot them?  Why did you ask them to kick you in the ass?"
"What!?"said the Marine, "And have you liberal assholes call ME the aggressor?"
