Dybbstalbahn
Austrian Narrow Gauge in G Scale

Welcome  to  my  website  on  the  Dybbstalbahn,  a  G scale  garden  railway  layout  based  on  the  Austrian  narrow  gauge  prototype  but  based  in  Derby,  England.    The  railway  only  came  about  because  of  an  odd shaped  garden  and  a  friend  suggesting  the  laying  a  large  scale  railway.    Sceptical  at  first,  it  has  now  taken  over  my  wallet.    I  hope  you  will  enjoy  browsing  the  pages,  not  only  for  pictures,  but  for  articles  and  projects  as  well.    I  hope  to  keep  these  pages  updated  on  a  regular  basis ....

The  above  photo  shows  a  terminus  end  of  the  Dybbstalbahn  with  2095.10  and  2091.02  at  the  modified  Pola  (low  relief)  station  buildings.    The  2091  is  a  standard  LGB-22522  model  with  sound  but  with  minor  modifications  to  bodywork.    The  2095  is  a  standard  LGB-21962  model  with  sound,  but  re-sprayed  and  re-decalled.
