StLB VL21 prepares to run round a short log train at the Brekenz terminus in 2003 when ballast was new. The locomotive is a slightly modified standard DB model with "patch" decals added. Sound from the later Rugen version has also been fitted.

VL21 (ex DB V51-901) crosses the bridge whilst 2095.10 is seen in background on a passenger service. The Mariazellerbahn brown coach is another of my resprays. |

0-6-2 U43 (LGB 22701 with sound added) runs round the single Coca-Cola wagon (LGB 45352 with sound removed) at the Brekenz terminus, whilst the 1955 White 3000 truck (by Danbury Mint) manoeuvres for loading. (When I first bought the Coca Cola truck in the picture ..... Daughter asked "What have you bought now ?" I told her it was a White truck, to which she replied, "It looks yellow to me".) |

The same pic but in sepia tone, which I think looks better for the era. |

Not a particular favourite of mine, but the Stainz 2 locomotive is Austrian and so does see limited use on ballast or nostalgia trains. The kids seem to like it though. Seen here running light across the Rückseitiger Weg level crossing, the parked up Alfa Spyder is a Revell plastic kit.

OMG .... A bit of fun here .... perhaps, but PLEASE don't play on or about the real railway. |

A bit more fun. Motorcycle is a Maisto Harley-Davidson El-Knucklehead die-cast kit. |

2092.02 hauls a single ballast wagon onto the new re-alignment site (see trackplan revision). Weather is not helping and most weekend work on the line is cancelled.

Trying out a new snowplough attachment on 2092.02 which I have now fitted with sound from the special edition 22952 club model.
