Update & Progress report for Marathounda
I had a meeting on Thursday 29th June with Dorothy the Architect and Ian Beaumont of J & I.
I know the majority of clients purchasing at Marathounda had a completion date of October 2006, during our meeting Dorothy gave me a more realistic completion date for the whole site which is December 2007, Ian confirmed that the letting out would not start until April 2008 as long as the whole site is finished, also bringing the contract down to 8 years.
The houses are going to be built in stages, starting with the row of 8 (Shown on revised site plan) the building will be staggered which means that some people will take possession whilstbuilding work is still going on.
Car parking is now going to be all under ground, with no road around the site.
Dorothy also mentioned that only end houses will have a roof terrace. (Please note that this has been subsequently denied by Brian Overy of Peter Stephenson - refer to the guestbook).
I also met up with John (kitchen designer) there is a range of kitchens and bedroom furniture, they are from MFI, I will forward the names of the ones available and these can be seen in the UK.
