What is Horsemasters?  Horsemasters is a completely volunteer organization associated with the Marathon County 4-H Extension Program.  We exist to promote horse education in Marathon County.

Who is a member of Horsemasters?  If you are a youth in Marathon County 4-H and enrolled in the project area of Horses or Horseless Horse then you are a Horsemaster member.

Who are our leaders?  Horsemasters, just like 4H Clubs, are led by youth officers mentored by adult advisors.

When do Horsemasters get together?  We hold meetings the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7pm.  Watch the Family Focus or the Activities page of this website for locations.  The April meeting, each year, is a mandatory meeting for anyone who plans to show a horse at the fair.

Why should I attend a Horsemaster meeting?  If you are a Horsemaster member (see definition above) or a Horse Project Leader this is your opportunity to have a voice in what clinics are planned and to be some of the first to know details of clinics and changes to the horse events at the Marathon County Fair.  In addition, you will earn a "Horse Buck" each meeting that can be used to pay for costs associated with any of our clinics.

Horsemaster's coordinates numerous clinics and educational opportunities for its members.
