I often get asked "What do I need to use this stuff?" Well here is the answer.
All of the donwnloads in this site can be use with Poser from E-Frontier or DAZ|Studio from DAZ3D.
Poser is the larger more powerful program of the two and it can be purchased at http://www.contentparadise.com/
Content paradise has a large selection of free and inexpensive items, even if you don't plan to get poser it is a site with checking out.
DAZ|Studio is less powerful but 100% free and can be downloaded at http://www.daz3d.com/
Studio is very excellent software and getting closer to Posers power level each update, though I still personally prefer Poser, for new animators or folks who are not sure if they really want to get into 3D you have to admit you can not beat the price of FREE.
Don't take this as meaning that it is not a program for serious animators and artists. I am just saying if you don't have a 3D program yet, this is you can grab right away and start trying it out.
Free membership is required to download and since they have a large selection of free content that memebership will get you far.
Note: their download agreement is you must tell atleast 2 people about STUDIO...I think this little note here has well surpassed that requirement for me since I get an average of 25,000 web hits a month
