For A Broken Robot was founded by Joe
Soukup, Levi Sumpter, and Aaron McMahon in March 2004. After a
month, Ian Vens was recruited to play bass. The original songs
were dark ballads and hard rockers. In late April, Aaron decided
the band wasn't playing the type of music he preferred so he
left. Ian became lead singer and several basses attempted to play
but left after a short stay. This left the trifecta of Ian, Levi,
and Joe. After four months of writing, rewriting, and full-out
scrapping songs, a demo with three of the most well-written songs was
recorded. Which brings us to the present. Indie-core hopefuls booking
shows and trying to get the word out. Check us out.
