End

Well our last show was the sixteenth so i thank you if you came out.  This marks the end of FABR as joe and levi couldn't stand each other anymore. Me and Levi are starting up a band called BASTILLE so be on the lookout.  Joe will be playing with multiple church/jazz bands i assume.  I'll keep you guys updated on our adventures in music as they progress. See ya.

Ian

With great demand from my mom, i have made a lyrics page. It's up but it looks rough and i can't link to it from the navbar. enjoy.

Bash on the Farm

So we played yet another suspenseful last second show again. This time in our home town, on our home. For those of you who did not come it was an awesome show, rather birthday party. My {Jojo} brother {Levi}is turning 16 so i decided to get some bands together and play a little shindig on the farm. First up was Yesterdays Stories, who played yet another awesome show bringing the punk scene to the barn, ecspecially considering they played only a few hours after i asked them. Next up was This Small Quiet Town, which featured Danny...as i know him, with his accoustic guitar and his great voice. Third were the Keepers of the Carpet, and every time I see these guys in concert i get a brain hemorage and pass out, all because when i do try to comprehend why they are so good live...my head hurts. half waayy dddonne. Next up were the lovely guys from Fraught who brought out the awesome PA system at the last second...thank you very much guys. These guys, as i would describe them sounded the most like pure and definite rock of the night. 5th up we had The Zoo from Marshall Town with there funky rock and awesome awesome drummer {and as far as i can tell, mostly because i have no idea what i am talking about, the guitars were quite beautiful also.} After all of that craziness came the guys from the band Thoughts of Crossing, which in ones mind i find, get exponentially better every time i see them in concert. Bringing the rock/rap genre to the table and then flipping it over and throwing things at it....heavy things....with much force...and pain...minus the whole pain part. after that came a yet another last second gig from us, For A Broken RoBOT, we only played 3 songs but i do feel it went fairly well. Last but least came Spring Brought Silence, well almost. They spent all that time setting up and tuning there guitars, but then like a man flying around the moon my mother swept in, like man flying around the moon, and told them they could not play because it was too late...so everyone cried. FOREVER?

Mason City Heart Attack

Hey this is Ian. Last night we played an unanounced show in Mason City at the local legion hall with Spring Brought Silence, Cassandra, and Skyfallsapart.  It was a great show with a lot of cool people. Yeah and then there was the part where Chris from Skyfallsapart walked in on me in the bathroom. That was cool i guess. We sold out of cds again...we should probably start carrying more cds to shows. Oh well. Um....well i think that's about it. We still have the 9/11 bash next weekend for anyone who wants to go. Oh and i put up a direct link to purevolume so it's more accessable. Or however that's spelled. Well it's time to go.

Halo Ya'll, this is i again...the miss a chievious drummer....causin' trouble...cuz that is what we do. we had precice today and we are working on a new song. So far this,,,,song.. is sounding pretty...it should be pretty cool when it's all said and done. it reminds me of the dresden dolls type of music, but thats just me...and who listens to the drummer....ok everyone...i get it. haha your in trouble now. we have about 6 concerts coming up, so far, in the next month and 2. im almost excited, i am making a gargantuin {haha i spelled that wrong} bowl of mac & cheese right now for a birthday party...but im lazy so its the packet kind...except i put a bunch of salt and other wierd things in the contents...of the bowl...half jack run. talk to you fools later...fool+jojo=jojo

Franklin. Ben Franklin. Junior.

Hey everybody, we had a show last saturday at the Bali Satay House which we think went pretty well. We sold out of cds....then again we gave a lot of them away. We ended up making about four dollars off fourteen cds. Not to shabby eh? Ah joe hates me for that one. Oh well we made some money off the door i assume. Im gonna call joe about that one. Our next show is on the 26 of august. It is also at the Bali. Five bucks at the door. We'll have more demos if you want em so just swing by and you'll get hooked up. We are playing with Thoughts of Crossing in case you guys wanna check them out. Um... i think that's all. Check us out on purevolume. www.purevolume.com/forabrokenrobot
