RITZ, ROSEY, ROMAN AND RASCAL

BEING FOSTERED IN MAIDENHEAD

RITZ

25-06-09 Ritz is an absolutely stunning tortoiseshell cat. She is nearly 2 years old and is unwanted by her owner who has far too many cats to care for.  Ritz and her kittens are the first to go. Ritz is a little disorientated at the moment as she has never left her home before now.   Despite not knowing us and never really meeting anyone before today Ritz is still very tolerant of us and of being wormed and vaccinated and handled. She is a very affectionate cat and would love a home with other cats where she has some feline company, it would be lovely if we could home this little family in two pairs - mum and one kitten and 2 kittens together - that way they all have company.

UPDATE 07-07-09

Ritz has been here a week now.  She was very scared when we first bought her home but she has learnt to trust us very quickly.  Ritz has clearly not been used to being handled but she is very affectionate and will come up for a fuss and will purr her heart out!!!!  She is a petite cat and has been a wonderful mum to her three kittens.  She would make a lovely pet
.

ROMAN

25-06-09 Roman is a 9 week old kitten who needs a home.  His mother wasn't spayed and he and his brother and sister were an unplanned litter that there aren't homes for. Roman is a very sweet little guy but needs to be properly socialised as he hasn't met many people before today so he's a bit dumbstruck at the move to our cattery!   He would love a little friend to share his life with and one of his siblings or his mum would love to live with him.

07-07-09 UPDATE

Roman is very funny.  He can do back flips and forward rolls and enjoys the wooden floor - it is great for handbrake turns - he is such a boy!!!  Roman is very soft. I have tried to take some photos to show you but he will not stay still for long enough.  Roman loves his mum and looks for her for cuddles which she happily gives. He is getting used to being handled and is full of cheek and fun!!

ROSEY

25-06-09 Rosey is a 9 week old female kitten.  Her who's owners have been unable to home or keep her. She is a little timid as she's not been very well socialised but is still cuddly and lovable.   We would be very happy if one of her siblings or her mum were homed with her.

07-07-09 UPDATE
We have nicknamed Rosey spider cat as she loves to climb curtains!!!  She is getting used to being handled and has learnt to stay still for at least 2 seconds for a stroke. This is fantastic as she has so many other things to pack into her busy life, like playing hide and seek with her brothers and games of chase and bundles are far more important in a kittens life!!  Rosey is adorable.

RASCAL

25-06-09 Rascal is a gorgeous 9 week old kitten who picture will find him a home in days. He is a real cutie but it would be lovely if he could have a little friend to share his life with and one of his siblings or his mum would love to live with him. Rascal is the most nervous of this family and will need an extra special person with extra special love to bring him on.

07-07-09 UPDATE

A complete ball of grey and white fluff!!! We have nicknamed him Socks because he looks like he has white socks on.  Rascal loves his mummy very much. He is getting used to being handled and will now purr when you make a fuss of him. Rascal enjoys playing with his brother and sister.  Rascal lets them walk passed him then leaps on them when they least expect it. He is gorgeous and will make a fantastic pet.

His face was slightly scuffed but he saw the vet and is fine - eating drinking and purring very well. He is a really really affectionate little kitten about 10 weeks old. He so wants a home so please consider him.

She's an unwanted farm cat and came to us with an very sore eye, but despite the pain this must've caused her she didn't give us a hard time while we cleaned it. She's very friendly and is very easy to handle.

URSULA & KITTENS

01-07-09 Ursula is a lovely young tortoise shell cat. She lived on farm but they have lots of cats there and so her and her 4 little kits are looking for new homes. Ursula is young but we don't really know her age, her kittens are days old and haven't opened their eyes yet. Ursula is a beautiful cat with a fantastic nature, despite being dragged out of her hay barn with her babies and dumped in arms of strangers she's still been friendly and cuddly with us and hasn't worried that we might hurt her kittens.
The kittens are a ginger tom, a black and white tom, a torti girl and a cute torbi girl.

GEORGIA & BELLA

BEING FOSTERED IN FAWLEY, SOUTHAMPTON

GEORGIA                                      BELLA

11-04-09 Georgia and Bella are 18 month old stunning long haired cats.  Their owners are unable to keep them they both live happily with other cats and have always lived with a dog.  They can be home together or separately.

01-06-09 UPDATE
These two have been with me for 2 weeks now and really coming out of their shells. Bella is the more forward of the two and was purring and cuddly from day one, whereas Georgia hid for the first few days, and took a little longer to enjoy fuss. She has now turned out to enjoy a fuss just as much, if not more than her sister. They are both good to groom,  Neither particularly likes their "trousers" being done, they don't protest at all, just try to turn around and get their backs brushed again, so i've been doing those whilst they're eating dinner and they're fine with that. They're both quite playful, but not in the same mad way as a kitten is, they're equally happy with a cuddle. They love to tell me when it's feeding time, and are both very clean in the house. I think it'd be nice if they were homed together, but they don't seem to depend on each other as my own two cats, so would probably be okay homed separately. They've both been fine meeting other people, but don't seem to be overly keen on very young children, so i think would be best homed with older children. These are absolutely stunning cats, really exotic looking faces and the most amazing greeny/yellow eyes, whoever adopts these will be very lucky.

FERAL CATS

We have a wonderful lady who has saved many feral cats from being poisoned shot or destroyed at farm yards. She has had them neutered and is now desperate for responsible homes. These are feral or semI-feral cats so they do need stables and/or out houses.  In return for being kept healthy with food, water and shelter they will patrol and look after your rodent population. Please help these poor cats and call Linda on 01994-427567.
