2007 Statistics

• 15,575 mini lights
• 2300 ft of extension cords
• 48 LOR Channels
• 6 Mini Trees
• 12 ft Mega Tree

2008 Statistics

The display isn't up yet, however there is a plan to have just over 24,000 lights, both mini and LED.  I also have purchased an additional 48 channels of computer control, making 96 Light-O-Rama channels total.  There is a lot of time until the display goes up and on, so I am sure things will change.

How long?

Every day of the year is when I do my planning.  Sitting in traffic, I am thinking about the display...at a boring family event, I am thinking about the display.  When the time the lights go up, I am thinking about what I can do on that bush next year, and what it's going to take to get it done. If it was feasible I would put lights out everyday of the week and change things up.  I have one goal in life, and that is to have one of the brightest houses, that isn't gaudy, in the town.

How much?

I would never tell how much it costs to build and run my display.  Mainly because I don't care.  I don't do this for attention, I don't do this to try to prove something, I do this to make my family and anyone that views the display happy. Cost doesn't mean anything to me when I do this. To me, everything is paid for when I see a smile on one person's face.
