So pleased that your hearing is now back to normal!
Suddenly got cold here too all of a sudden, the wind cuts right through you...looks nice and clear in Ramsey though, judging by the Dog Mills photo, lovely pic.

Love the quote at the end of todays post - here's to the heroes!

Ah, I see you've already found your answer otherwise I was going to tell you that those flies aren't flies at all, but bees and it's all to do with the bible and Samson and honey...

A really nice 5 on the fifth. Your shot on the trolley is awesome. Thanks for stopping by at my place :-)

Thanks for posting on 5 on the Fifth - can you add a link in your blog so that other know where to come next time? The more the merrier!

Great quote today! Sounds like your weather is as bad as ours, very windy this morning and wet, but just last Wednesday I was standing outside talking to a friend and the sun was beating down, really warm, we both said it felt like a summer day - and yes, where has the year gone, I can't believe it's November already.

Pete, as a fellow sufferer, you have my sympathy. I actually spent the second week of my honeymoon in severe pain due to wax impacted on my eardrum caused by diving into fresh water. There is an excellent product called waxsol which is very efficient. It,s made by Norgine Pharma, a french firm, so should be available in your neck of the woods. Great photos again, where do you find the time?

Hi, Pete,
Without a doubt, your site never ceases to interest me, the views and news from the island, is always good to know. On, another note my poor friend Maurice, I do think is having a hard time, so if I may wish him all the best, and hope to hear from hime soon. As, for Carol, just so you know, Oct, 7th, we had our firstr snow fall, and today, it is still falling. The, pumpkin thing, all as I can recall was a turnip, but must admit a pumpkin can be more interesting! Cheers!
