If you have not been here before, we are updating the site so it is only partially done, but we hope you enjoy our new look, including the music.
Manna for The Journey is a compilation of messages that the Lord has given me since the year 2004, as I spent time in the secret place, that place the Lord wants us to go and shut the door, and learn of Him and His word, and listening for His still quiet voice. I have not placed all of them here as yet, this is only a portion of over 400.
Anyone can hear from God, but it takes a separation from the spirit of the world, which pervades the church.
That is why so few really hear the voice of God in their spirit because they are caught up with the daily life of buying and selling and the things of this life. Jesus always went up into the mountains to spend that time talking to the Father.
So there is something about getting away alone that makes one more receptive to hearing from the Lord. The Secret place is a place where you draw near Him in the Spirit, it doesn't have to be on the mountain though, there are few quiet places where we can go these days, the world is full of noises. When we crowd our life with noise and conversation it is very difficult to hear from God, so we need to make a place, and shut out all distractions..

You will find some of the messages are quite new, some prophetic, but most are a word for the body of Christ to grow more into His likeness and as His bride.
I find that most of the messages are a word for us today about what is happening in the church, what will happen shortly or in the future, and how to prepare ourself for the days spoken about and how to walk as true disciples, preparing ourself to be the bride in His image.
The messages are timeless so most will be seen today as coming true as we see prophecy in the news, and events not only in the world but in the church unfolding before our eyes.
You will find them categorized and many may be under one page title, I thought it would be easier to read if organized.
I write under a pseudonym either Beloved Shoshanna, or Beloved Servant, rather then my own name Shanna George.
My reason for doing that is because I didn't write the messages, I just typed them, and I want the focus to be on the Lord Jesus Christ author of the words, rather then myself. Sometimes they have come from the Father but mostly from the Lord. I want to be lower still, I do not want a title or a name, just to be His messenger.
The name really doesn't matter it is the message that matters and in the time such as this we need to be on our face before the Lord seeking Him for a clear word, and praying for revival, because judgment is surely coming. And just as in Jonahs day and all the other prophets that cried out night and day to save Israel, we need to do the same.
Look at Daniels intercession for the nation of Israel.
Dan 9:3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.
Dan 9:4 And I prayed unto Jehovah my God, and made confession, and said, Oh, Lord, the great and dreadful God, who keepeth covenant and loving kindness with them that love him and keep his commandments,

There is so much false doctrine coming out of the church in America and these teachings have now entered Africa and other countries abroad and unless you pray for discernment, wisdom and knowledge from above you too will be deceived.
There are also spirits that influence us, and distract us. There is also the spirit of the world, which draw you through buying and selling, magazines, newspapers television, movies they are all distractions to keep you from living and walking in the spirit.
Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Mat 6:31 Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 6:34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
You will find these messages biblical, you will find they are the truth, and if you heed what the Lord says you will be blessed and you will be encouraged. I can't tell you how many times I have re-read the messages and was edified again and again by the words.
It is a time to listen to the Lord beloved, it is not a time for man made religion, or doctrine. So many are teaching something that is from the intellect not from the Spirit of God, they are teaching psychology, prosperity, new age, and humanism cloaked in the garment of Christianity.
They are inviting you to seminars and church growth conferences and they are bringing in damnable heresy.
It is often the big names that are filling their churches because of the smooth words they preach that tickle the ears. I know that you look up to the big names, but the bible says narrow is the way and few their be that find it. Look for a church that preaches the hard way, the narrow way and that is where you should be, a church that preaches truth and holiness.
Stay away from new teachings that sound great but they are high sounding words and not the truth, the truth is in the word of God and it never changes my brother and sister.
No compromise! There is only one way to salvation and that is through faith in Jesus Christ shed blood on calvary. It is the cross and the blood. It never changes. Cling to the cross, do not let them take that from you. The key is in the cross.
Everything that you need to know for a victorious life is in the word of God the bible, every trial and every situation, it has the answer, do not let anyone tell you that you need something else, all the answers are right there for every situation, if you will seek the answer in the word of God and in the Lord. It is the hand book for living on earth.
The Lord wants to prepare you for kingdom living.
I pray blessings on you as you read the messages, I pray for a listening ear, and an open heart. I pray that you will not only listen but hearken which means to listen and obey.

We are living in perilous times. 2Ti 3:1 But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, un-thankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,
2Ti 3:4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.
We are even now seeing apostasy in the church, and a great great falling away from the truth.
1Ti 4:2 through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons.
