July 24, 2008: The Fundraiser drawing for The Manilow Fund was held last evening at our Fan Club Meeting (at Applebee's, in Denver, CO.). The winners of the drawing are:

There was a later contribution of a signed audio book by Cynthia B. Ainsworthe, "Front Row Center." It won an IPPY award this year for independent publishing. It is a romance novel, inspired by Barry Manilow..............At the end of the drawing of the "packages," all the entering tickets were put together,and one name was drawn for this book.........And, the winner of this drawing is:

Our Raffle begins June 17, 2008 ( at Barry's Birthday party at Applebee's, in Denver, CO), and ends July 16, 2008----with the drawing to be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 7 pm, at our Fan Club Meeting (at Applebee's, in Denver, CO.).

THERE ARE FIVE EXCITING PACKAGES!!!!!

The first three packages are Barry special Bears from Build-a-Bear Workshop. Their "store" names are "Teddy Reads." One dollar from the purchase of each bear went to nonprofit organizations, including First Books, which provides new children's books to low income families. So, these little guys are Beary excited to help two worthy causes!!!!
