Welcome to the "NEW" Well, I finally did it! I got my bbs back up. The only problem is you won't be able to log on over the regular phone lines. This is a "TELNET ONLY" bbs, and you have a connection to the internet so you can access it as long as you have a telnet program. If you don't, for a windows 95/98/ME/XP telnet program, get Hyper-Terminal 6.1 private edition ( my favorite )and then connect to this telnet address: telnet://themaniacmansion.d2g.com Or take a look at who's Online Right Now! I also have an FTP which you can check out, it is nothing spectacular but here is the address: I have been spending a lot of time on the board so I really haven't been doing much else lately. It is so Nice to be running a BBS again. Give it a call and join the Synchronet community, they are a group of nice people willing to help each other on Dov-Net. I better say Thanks to Rob Swindell for writing this great bbs software and helping me with problems along the way! Come on by and say HI. and maybe play a good old door game or just read the messages. It is a lot of fun. That is why I enjoy running a bbs, for the close knit community. The Internet is way to crowded. Try something different. You just might like it. I also have a lot of door games so check them out!
