Shadow Hearts II. (PS2)
Story line.
After Yuri endured the harsh last battle in Shadow Hearts1 where he obtained Amon(Demon he can transform in), he returned to Munich where he buried his love Alice who had lost here life during the last battle, then he decided he wanted to end his days living in a church and to protect the small village he lives in. Everything was fine until the day that a troupe of German soldiers entered the village because of a rumor that there was a Demon living there, among them there was a young lieutenant called Karin who was spared after the first encounter with the demon, after that she was assigned to guide a man named Nicolai to the village to investigate the village and the church again. Once the two of them set foot in the church they encountered the demon again and suddenly the demon changed into a form of a young man, but Nicolai's intentions where different from the beginning of the mission because the young man who could transform into a demon was Yuri also called the god slayer and Nicolai wanted to defeat him (becouse he stole the oppertunaty to become the hero in SH1) and cursed him to let his soul die away slowly, so from that point on Yuri's adventure begins to find a way to cure himself of the curse and to take out the ones who want to cover the world into darkness.

My opinion.
I really loved this game from the moment i turned on my PS2 and saw the first images and heard the first sounds^..^ Shadow Hearts II is a dark RPG with a lot of humor but also with a serious dark horror pinch. Also are the characters very nicely done with each a different character and interest, i personally like Blanca the wolf and Kurando the young swordsmaster a lot because of their looks and character, but Joachim the wrestling gay vampire is so funny really!(who would make up such a character*laugh*) The fighting system is also very different from the most RPG's with a sort of ring of destiny system. I also like the affinity option, during the game you can see how the characters are feeling for each other, and there are a lot of secrets and mini games to find like the fusion ability for Yuri and Kurando(they can change into different monsters) and the wolf bout for blanca. (wolf bout is a tournament for wolf's to test their strength and for each win you get a reward. But the biggest thing i love about this game is its music, i really adore it!

Star Ocean: Till The End OF Time. (PS2)
Story line.
Fayth the main character is on holiday with his Friend Sophia and his parents, they where having a good time until the resort where they where staying was under attack by hostile battle ships of a race called the Vendeen. From that point on Fayth and his family had to flee from that resort but ended up in a foreign world and thats where his adventure starts to find his family and his best friend Sophia. In his journey he meets a lot of persons who will aid him and travels a lot of different worlds with each its own sticky situations where Fayth and companions have to try to find a way out of......
My opinion.
Star Ocean T.T.E.O.T is a RPG and has a pretty long length, i beat it in 60 hours and enjoyed the game a lot, tough there where boring parts.
Most of all i liked the battle system, it's real time action so unlike turn based (Final Fantasy) you don't have to wait until it's you're turn but can stay on action. I also liked the animé style of the game and some of the characters like cliff and Albel. It was also fun to try and collect all the battle trophies, you could win those at the end of each battle.
