The future of ice hockey in Manchester is uncertain. The Manchester Storm went into liquidation on Wednesday 6th November 2002. On Thursday 7th November there was a meeting at which it was decided that we would try to raise money to keep the team going at least until the end of the season. We all believe Manchester deserves a hockey team and we will do whatever it takes to keep hockey in the city...now we just need outside support.

Welcome to Eye Of The Storm Version 2.0! Sorry for any inconvenience and/or annoyance I've caused by moving EotS (I don't think that really applies...I didn't get much traffic anyway) but I find Freewebs a lot easier to use so that means I'm more likely to update the site regularly 'cos it's no fuss. All at the expense of the cool navigation menu I had on the old site =( loads of people couldn't seem to figure it out anyway (for some reason) so maybe it's not such a bad thing and I'll stick to normal navigation menus like everyone else...if you don't wanna sign the guestbook or come and chat with us in the forum/chatroom, please at least leave a message on the tag-board...? Thanks a lot =)

This website was created by me (Athena) and it's dedicated to my ice hockey team, the Manchester Storm. I go to all of their home games (and some away games as well) and my fave player WAS #22 Ivan Matulik (the captain) - before he went back to Cardiff...can't blame him after all the fiasco we've had here - so anyway the site is still under construction - most of the pages are finished but the Team page is still blank - I'll sort that out very soon...for now there's just a link to the official site's team roster page. Eye of the Storm was previously located at www.manchesterstorm.s5.com (that's why this is version 2.0).
