Meet The Director Nights

What:  A chance to meet our new band director - Mr. Brian King!
When:  Monday July 13th and/or Tuesday July 14th, from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
Where:  The Manchester High School band room.
Who:  Any students and/or parents involved in the music program.

Did you know that a band student spends more time with their band director than with any other faculty member in the school system?!  Here is a great opportunity to meet our new director and learn about his philosophy and plans for the band.  Information will made available regarding band camp, the band handbook, and future trips.  Manchester Music Booster officers will also be available to discuss finances and fundraisers.  Most of the information provided will be geared towards the high school program, as the marching band season is just around the corner, but middle-schoolers are more than welcome as well.  See you there!

Hudson Village Pizza

The Manchester Music Boosters, with the help of Hudson Village Pizza will conduct its semi- annual pizza fund raiser from June 20th – July 4th. Within the next few weeks you will receive a call and be invited to select from pizza, Amish style fudge, coffee, cookie dough and trash bags. 

Please help support our music program which our kids work so hard for! Proceeds will go to the Manchester Music Boosters and will support all Manchester Music Programs. We need your support!!   Thank you to all who have given their support in the past and to those supporting thru this great opportunity!

We also need a new logo(to fit where the singers picture is above), you can send any designs or pictures for that also to mhsmusicdept@aol.com. (Please make subject "Logo")

2009 Car Washes

There will be 6 car washes this summer.  Any music (band and/or choir) student can earn money for trips and band camp.
 
Car washes will be held the following Saturdays:
 
June 6
June 20
July 11
July 25
August 8
August 22
 
Hours are 9:00 to 12:30.
All car washes are held at Lo-Boy on Manchester Road.
 
Money earned at all car washes will accumulate throughout the summer.  It will then be allocated to each student based on the total number of hours that student worked.

Music Booster Meetings

 
Monthly Music Booster meetings are held
the 2nd Thursday of each month @ 6:30 p.m.
in the high school music room.
