11/06/2008-- ...with gumdrops and hexaorbs for all.
Update from the last news post: freaken PWNED the Masked Guru! w00t! I haven't had the time to actually finish Dawn of Mana yet, but I'm close to it, so look for its review to be posted tomorrow or the day after. Not that its a new game...in fact, its about a year and a half old. Still, we don't have so many reviews up on the site yet, sooo...
I'm open to debate any of my picks for my Top 10 RPG list, and I'd love it if we had readers send in their own personal list. I'm sure Reed feels the same way.

11/03/2008-- I swear...
...that I will defeat the @#&*( Masked Guru boss in Dawn of Mana. I ALMOST had it tonight! So close! Arrrrrrgh! I saw the health! It was so close! I went for it! AND THE F*&(ING LASERS GOT ME. Blaaaaaaagh.
Anyway.
'couple of new features. The Top 10 lists, Reed is spearheading that, and he's done a great job with the page. We tried, we actually discussed this, but yeah we tried to avoid using the same game on each others' list...it explains why SoM isn't on mine, and CT isn't on his. There were a couple we couldn't avoid, however. Also new is the members' area (cleverly called the Party Screen), we're trying to get as many people as we can, so if you feel like it, please register! Freewebs keeps information belonging to you and me safe, and lets us send out group emails, and niftycool stuff like that.

11/02/2008-- 'ey wait! This bird ain't got no beak!
...It's been a long month. haha For both of us at the site, actually. I got promoted at work, and Reed passed a chemistry test. I got in to a car wreck, and Reed failed a chemistry test. Even for the Author of Secret of Mana Theater. That guy's been through a lot. Back in the day when ManaTrigger was very young and Reed and I were of freshman/sophomore status in high school, his humor and hilarious flash comic series based on Secret of Mana served as a source of inspiration for a lot of the humor we use at this site, as well as inspiration for ManaTrigger itself. So we just wanted to say "thanks, man! and we appreciate what ya do, good luck to you in the future!" I actually think we've exchanged a few emails with him in the past, asking for basic tips on webcomics, and him being very kind with us
. Definitely check out the archive on Mana Theater, and get familiar with his series--its amazing.
Now for actual updates around the site. Hrm. The background isn't working, for some odd reason, so I'm gonna change it. Unless my internet is flipping out, which is a possibility. You know how internet is these days. I blame the schools. Oh, I'm also taking the last installment of ManaTrigger:Sprited down from the main page and putting it in The Past...where it belongs, seeing as it was updated last on August 5th, 2006. A very kind user has let us know that our MT logo sucks terribly, so Reed and I are in the process of cookin' up something new. Be nervous, both of us are terrible in the kitchen, despite where we both work. I also put all of our current logos up at the very bottom of the main page, so if you're interested in linking to us (eh? eh? eh?) then just feel free to choose from one of those there boxes and we'll give ya the link. I've now updated this paragraph several different times tonight, and I believe I'm finally done. Yay! Toodles.

10/02/2008-- Its like October Christmas!
Holy crap! We actually have real news about the site! Really! I'm not even lying this time!
First announcement this morning before I go back to bed and snuggle up with High Fidelity and my DS is that our new friends at Uberscore have generously provided a link to us on their Chrono Trigger page, sending all readers who seek information on CT right here to lil' ol' ManaTrigger. This is big. Maybe not as big as the presidential race, but...still, big. I just want to say thank you, Uberscore, and maybe because of you we'll actually find some people to read this silly posts besides Reed and myself!
The second announcement isn't really announcing anything unknown, but its such an awesome news story it should be announced again. CTDS, or Chrono Trigger DS for long, is being directly ported to the NDS, and is set to be released in North America on November 25th, 2008. The touch screen serves as a sort of enemy selector in battles, from what I've seen so far. According to a very recent 1up.com article, two new features have found their way in to the game: A monster raising minigame (yay...) and two brand-new areas to explore called the Dimensional Rift and the Dragons' Sanctuary (YAY!). My personal speculation is that the latter will tie in with the Dragon Gods from Chrono Cross...although that's probably more wishful thinking, but ya never know (but hey! we can discuss this in the new MT forums.) Pre-order this bad boy in Japan and you'll score an orchestral soundtrack to the game...or go on LimeWire/UTorrent months and months later, whatever you choose. You can find the news article here.
But for now, I'd definitely reccommend checking out Uberscore. They've got a fantastic site out there. Or, maybe the Chrono Trigger DS trailer might strike your fancy? Tee-hee.
That just might have been the biggest post I've done to this site in like...2 and a half years. Wow...

10/01/2008-- Remember that one time?
So...we're back! After a good, ol' fashioned almost 9 month hiatus. Again.
Freewebs got better in our absense, not gonna lie. Its basically pretty cool.
Anyway. We're gonna try to update as much as we can, and hopefully break loose from the freewebs chain pretty soon. Should be pretty fun to watch.
Aaaaand with that, I'm gonna go to work!

01/24/2008-- You know you're in college when...
You will avoid your english essay to the point you update your two year dead website.
And you know you work fast food too much when you answer your cell phone with "Hi, Arby's, Christopher speaking, how may I help you?"
