Brett is a solid custodian that is very highly rated by the club. Once scouted by Rotherham United academy, if fit is reckoned to be a future professional keeper. His 6' 4" frame makes him a huge figure to contend with in the Ravens' goal. He has many qualities, good handling and a combatative edge that keeps him on top of the opposition at all times. Has made over 100 appearances for the club.Was appointed vice captain on 21st November 2004.
2. DANNY DAVIES - MIDFIELD

Signing in August 2004, Danny brings to the club solid performances from Edlington FC and a good reputation for his no nonsense attitude towards the oppostition. At such a young age and a graduate of the Academy, Danny has a really bright future to look forward to with The Ravens.
3. GEORGE COLLEY - CENTRAL DEFENDER

George was first spotted at Dinnington Royal and is proving to be a brilliant reader of the game as proved in his central defensive partnership with Stephen Bradford and this promises to be a very strong defensive partnership that George and Stephen can forge. His aerial strength and the ability to run with his striker is a great asset as he seems to keep a cool head in the trickiest of situations.
4. JOHN HOPKINSON - CENTRAL MIDFIELDER

John was reccomended by Club Captain Richard Haston to the management and brings with him a wealth of experience from most notably the Rotherham United school of excellence. His range of passing is excellent and this type of player should really be playing at a higher level but The Ravens are really glad to have him on board.
5. STEPHEN BRADFORD - DEFENDER
AGE: 18 years DOB: 14 August 1986 POB: Uxbridge, England

Stephen made his comeback to The Ravens in December 2004 initially on trial for us. His strengths are well known to the majority of the old guard in the squad and he is a massive signing to the midfield line. He previously won POM in January, Febuary and March 2001.
7. JAMES NAYLOR - STRIKER
AGE: 19 years DOB: 02 October 1985 POB: Ipswich, England
Clubs: Ravenfield Boys FC 2001- 03 MCS first Team 1999 - 2003
James is well known at the club for his intelligent play and his assist rate at the club. He is also perfect foil for that lightning quick striker and is a very good addition to the squad. Signed in 1999 he is a massive part of the club.Has an average of 10 goals a season.
8. RICHARD HASTON - MIDFIELD
AGE: 18 years DOB: 24 October 1986 POB: Dinnington, England
Clubs: Dinnington Royal FC, ST Leger
Richard signed in December 2004 for an undisclosed fee from rivals Dinnington Royal and comes very highly rated to the club. An ex -teamate of the Player/Manager his skills are well known and his drive in the engine room when fit will play an integral part in the clubs league challenge in 2005/06 season. Appointed Club Captain in Dcember 2004.
9. JAMIE JEPSON - STRIKER (injured until NOVEMBER 2005)

Jamie was first spotted by the first manager playing for Maltby Juniors as he got 2 goals against a very good Sheffield United Junior Blades in 1998 and was regarded as a future talent by all at Maltby. His quicksilver pace and his ability to make chances from nothing are key to his game as well as his great link up play with his team - mates. A natural fighter on the ball when fully fit, he is slowly getting back to his best after a catalogue of injuries. Back to full fitness and is showing old form with Maltby Main FC with 2 goals in 3 games.
10. MICHAEL WILSON - STRIKER

Michael is a very talented striker who was spotted at Dinnington Royal as a raw talent that if he has the drive could make it to a professional level of playing. Rated as the best finisher in the box and is a real danger in the air for all opponents to watch in and around the box. His record speaks for itself and his goal record is comparative to Jamie's as he is a real livewire in the box and on his day is a matchwinner. He justs needs to work on his teamwork and awareness and he can go to the next level.
11. DANIEL HOLMES - LEFT/ RIGHT MIDFIELDER
AGE 19 years DOB: 04 December 1985 POB: Rotherham, ENGLAND

Danny has been at the club since Day One and is still regarded by the management as one of the superstars of the team. A very versatile player that has 20 caps in goal! His crossing ability is second to none and he very good defensively in his game and seems to make opportunities for the strikers from nowhere.
14. RICKY CROMPTON - CENTRAL MIDFIELD
AGE: 16 years DOB: Unknown POB: Chesterfield, England
Clubs: Maltby Juniors, Chesterfield Youth Team, Chesterfield Academy 2004 - present
Ricky comes very highly recomended to the club after injury problems forced the Club Manager to enter the transfer market. It is beleived that he is on a YTS at Chesterfield FC and is a very combatative midfielder that will operate the middle of the park inthe 2005 - 06 season as The Ravens look to win the league.
15. CHRISTOPHER SIMPSON - LEFT BACK
AGE: 19 years DOB: 04 December 1985 POB: Sheffield, ENGLAND
CLUBS: Stainton Bombers
Christopher comes to the club in mainly a boardroom position but is a very good left back when called upon, eg: suspensions etc... His game enthusiases others around him to give 110% as his workrate is the best the management has ever witnessed at a club. He is a total prick that needs hitting in the face really hard and needs to use his mobile now and again.
16. RYAN GEARY - DEFENDER
AGE: 17 years DOB: Unknown POB: Unknown
PREVIOUS CLUBS: Edlington White Stars
Ryan enjoyed a fantastic defender and showed the manager what he was missing in Micheal Hague with a good leader show where he was unlucky to conceed a penalty on his debut and he showed good composure on the ball and has a very good and strong tackle. Yet again another key in the Ravens' promotion bid in the RDSFL in 2005/06 season.
17. JAMES MASON - STRIKER (SUSPENDED until 16 July 2005)
AGE: 16 years DOB: Unknown POB: Doncaster, England

James signed in August 2004 after impressing then manager Danny Holmes but he has also impressed the current management and his sheer class on the ball prompted Dan to offer him a 2 year deal. He scored on his full debut against Dinnington Royal FC.
31. CHRISTOPHER JEPSON - DEFENDER
Age: 14 years DOB: 01 November 1990 POB: Leeds, ENGLAND
Clubs: Brampton Dynamos U14 and U15s, The Ravens'
Chris comes to the club to learn from more senior players as he seeks to excel in central defence and left back. His prescence in the air is an added bonus to the club when required and in the future will be part of the defence regularly when he makes the transition at 16 to RDSFL.
August 2005 sees the introduction of The Ravens' Youth Team with young Luke Barron installed as Player/Manager and he is looking forward to the task. It will be the feeder club to the Ravens' First Team and they will have friendlies against the First Team from time to time. Players included within the squad include fringe first team players and new fresh faces into the side.
Luke Barron said eariler " I am very hopeful of the upcoming team which I am forging with The Ravens FC and thier First Team Manager Jamie Jepson. We will work hard together to ensure both teams will have a sucessful side for years to come."

First Team Manager: Jamie Jepson
After the shock dismissal of Daniel Holmes as manager, Jamie with the best experience and his contacts in the game was appointed as Caretaker Manager until July 2005. Jamie, also the First Team Coach was also the mastermind behind the 2002 Stainton Championships win and also was the captain during the 2002-03 season where the famous 18 game unbeaten run was amassed. Also with his coaching skills he is now in prime position to take the club forward and has signed a permanant deal till the 2007-08 season.

Assistant Player/Manager Manager: Daniel Holmes
After the fiasco that erupted in November 2004, Jamie decided to take back Daniel into management because of his scouting abilties and he is a fantastic player too. He shares the same desire as Jamie to bring the Ravens into the Football League.
First Team Coach: Mark Fitzgerald
Mark is a combatative defender that is good in the air and has a brilliant first touch. Appointed on 4th November 2004 he is an aggressive leader and has qualities vital to the club that are needed for victory and is an emergency left/ right back if the club needs cover at the back.
Club Captain: Richard Haston
Appointed the day he signed on January 1st 2005 from Dinnington Royal FC he has the right ability to lead the club into the RDSFL with the good intention of leading the Ravens to promotion. If fit he is a fantastic leader who can lead through the back to the fron and has also been known to play up front too!
Chief Executive: Christopher Simpson
Also registered as a player in the club, Chris brings a wealth of experience with him to the cause. His expert financial knowledge and man handling are two of the main reasons we at The Ravens have appointed him as the new Chief Executive and he will be one of the key men in the clubs transition for the future.
