07/03/2006: Today we had 4 new entries, all from SMCTFC, these are Julian Mifsud, Matthew Zammit Cordina, Kurt Cuschieri and Micheal Wright, all will be taking part in the Open and U15 categories.
06/03/2006: Today we had the entries of Charles Axisa (Valletta) and Dane Xuereb (SMCTFC).

03/03/2006: We have had many new entries over the past few weeks taking the total number of participants up to 48 players, with much more players expected to enter.
20/02/06: Today we had the entry of Valletta Star Player; Mark Gauci.
16/02/06: Today we had the confirmed entry of ex-U19 World Champion, Joseph Borg Bonaci. We also had the entries of Pembroke trio; Thomas Camilleri, Kurt Causon and Daniel Buhagiar who will all be taking part in the U15 and Open except for Thomas Camilleri who will also take part in the U12.
06/01/06: A local player advised us that a number of foreign players were going to be present for our tournament, these are; Delphine Dieudonne, David Fraikin and Laurent Goor, all from AS Hennuyer, Eric Verhagen, world number 1, and Atlas Athens duo, Dimitris Stamatopoulos and Lazaros Papakostantinou. They were all added to the entrants list.
05/01/06: Another foreign entry today; Vito Di Ruggiero, he is a top Belgian player who forms part of the Belgian giants, SC Charleroi.
04/01/06: The Schedule and detailed enty form are finally out today.
04/01/06: Today we recieved the entry of U19 world cup finalist, Samuel Bartolo, he should proove to be a great contender for this year's Open titles, he will be looking to improve upon his last year's Semi-Final placing in the GP.
01/01/06: The tournament's organisers would like to wish everyone a happy new year.
21/12/05: Today we recieved another foreign entry, comprising from welshman Martin Evans.
17/12/05: Today we had another 4 entries comprising world number 13 and 16, Joseph Mifsud and Hansel Mallia respectively, and also from the brothers Alan and Clint Abela Wadge, who will be playing for the newly-formed club, Msida St. Joseph FC.
16/12/05: We had our first foreign entries today, these are Colin Lewis the welshman from Cardiff Bluebirds, David Lauder, another welshman from the Cardiff Club and David Pawsey the English Premier League Player, all players attended last year's tournament and they all will be taking part in the Open Category. Also entered today was Veteran, Joseph Zammit Pavia.
14/12/05: We so far have 15 different participants, 11 in the Open, 10 in the U19, 8 un the U15, 4 in the U12, 5 in the Ladies and 2 in the Veterans. Amongst which are world number 2 Massimo Cremona.
INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone,
This will be the official website regarding the Maltese GP & IO, which will be held on the 25th and 26th March at a Sports Hall in Cospicua, Cottonera, Malta. This is the hall next to where the World Cup was held in 2003. We hope that it will be a success as it was in previous seasons, there will be a participant limit of around 128, all categories will be played (ie. Open, Ladies, Veterans, U15, U19, U12).
