Within sight & sound of the steam trains!

 

In the delightful, unspoilt hamlet of Esk Valley within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.  This is a lovely tastefully restored terraced cottage.  It has beautiful views and is an ideal base for walking or touring this area.  Of course, its main attraction is the N. Y. M. R. which passes very close.  Railway fence 35 yards.  It is ideal for watching the steam locomotives coming up the line from the lounge or bedroom windows.  Approximately a half mile walk into Grosmont where there are a general store, café, post office and pub.
