Taxpayers of Malaysia Unite !
We Malaysians pay so many taxes without knowing whether our contributions are wisely utilised or not. Sure, we have the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) who should be asking the hard question of public spending. But the PAC is run by career polititions mostly ( or all ) from the ruling parties. However, even some Ministers try to avoid the PAC ! What chance does a single taxpayer have in asking what happened to his or her taxes ?
Invitation is hereby open to form the Malaysian Taxpayers Association (MTA). The MTA would function as a pressure group in a non-partisan constructive way. We would not be labeled as pro-goverment or pro-opposition but proudly pro-taxpayers.
