Andy 11 Jan 2005 Birthday!
Woo! It's my birthday! And Nina's birthday too! I can legally get married! I can finally legally buy fags! God, as if I'd smoke.......
Hi, I just wanted to tell people to please help donate to the relief effort for the affected countries that suffered such devastation from the recent tsunami. Even a small amount can make a difference. Below is a banner where you can donate online.
Keep the people in the affected countries in your thoughts and prayers.
Also, there is a new song available to listen to.
Love,
Andy

Mitch 3 Jan 2005 PanthroFest and New Year Cheers!
Happy New Year!
So, hello, I'm Mitch, the new Maladiction guitarist. I'm 16 and I live in sunny West Chiltington. Obviously there is more info on me on the members page.
Just to let you in on the 'know', PanthroFest 2005 is going to be on the 25th February, a Friday I believe, and it's going to be held at the Extra Time Bar, in Broadbridge Heath. If you can, bring some form of ID with you, but don't worry if you can't, me and Andy will sort it out. Also on the lineup are Army of Fools, Liquid Vinyl Asassins, Paradox and Auberon Pheonix and the Dirt Box Fiddlers.
Also, I am trying to sort out a gig on Feb 11th with Paradox, Fisticuffs, Jalopy, Army of Fools and Duckhead on Feb 11th! It'll be at the Drill Hall, Horsham. More details to follow.
Also, we have found a new guitarist, Mitch, who is trialling the band, and if he likes it, he'll come and play for us! This adds the possibilty of vocal harmonies to the band! Tristan, a grade 8 drummer, is also trialling the band, so if he likes it etc etc.
Almost Xmas, hope you guys have a good one, and see you in the new year (obviously some of you before that, party on, new year- wa-hey!).
Andy 1 Dec 2004 New Page On Maladiction, Danny and Festive Cheers!
We parted ways with Danny, after differences (but there are no hard feelings, as Joe and Danny are still the best of friends). The search for a new drummer ensues, preferably one with their own kit!
Hey! Everyone visit http://www.purevolume.com/maladiction for another page on us. Includes music, gigs and other stuff. Only 24 Days Till Xmas! Wa-Hey!
Andy 27 Nov 2004 New Forum and BOTB 04 Press Release!
The new forum is up! Go sign up, and go through the various Maladiction ranks (you'll see what I mean)! Spread the word about this band, we are having a great time at the moment, thanks to all your support. Special mention to Nick Stuart-Miller and Jamie Clifton of Duckhead, thanks guys!
Finally! Safer Days is available for download (as a pre-release edit, not the finished article!). Listen to it and give us some feedback in the guestbook! Thanks to Will Carroll (who was pestered by me mainly!). Will post some stuff up later, so see ya, and spread the word! Oh yeah, before I forget, I played the acoustic section of Horsham Battle Of The Bands 2004, and got spotted! Lucky me!
We split up with Joe S today. We had only practised once as a band, so it was time. Danny Greg has been re-drafted to play drums.
On a lighter note, the album name has been changed from 'The Highway To Life', to 'Behind Closed Doors'. This is because of AC/DC's song 'Highway To Hell', and we want to sound original or something. Plus, it's a cool name. The track listing is:
1. Inspire 2. Reflective 3. Aimless 4. Come With Me 5. Simplicity 6. Safer Days 7. Innovate! (instrumental) 8. No Second Thoughts 9. Flarin' 10. Out Of Town 11. Rise Above 12. Impact 13. City Streets
We will finish recording it soon (I am banned from the music school due to bad grades!). We might have a party over it! Any excuse to get wasted (only joking mummy)! Anywayz, I'm off.
One of our songs, 'Safer Days', has almost been completed. It is a soft, piano song with a warm chorus, and hopefully with rock and acoustic songs soon to be available to LISTEN to (not download because we need the material for the album, you know!), it will show our variety. Oh yeah, we also wrote a crazy hip-hop/rap rock style song today, called 'No Name', and a German song called 'Wunderbar!' (as a joke, of course!). Anyway, we are finishing Safer Days tomorrow, and should be available to listen to around lunchtime, so keep checking! I'ma hit tha sack now.

Maladiction Split? News On Maladiction/Duckhead Gig.....
Hi people,
Thanks for the last post Joe. Very intelligent. Anyway, rumours have circulated that I quit Maladiction. This is not true. It was a joke at first, but somehow turned sour.....don't know how. A word about the gig.....there is some bad news. Wednesday 15th December has been taken by a Leisure Centre Member (they take priority which sucks). The only date available now is Sunday 19th, but Fraser won't be here, so we can't do it. I'm really sorry for this, but it's not my fault! There are loads of dates in January, so we'll have TWO gigs to make it up to you. I'm really sorry again, damn it sucks, but Fraser won't be here. I will confirm a date in January some time this term, and make it public. Thanks for your support, and sorry again.
