Take a detour from the the well-beaten (to death) tracks of so-called 'indie' rock and head on down into the wild and woolly terrain of the underground.  Join in each week and we'll explore unpopular, ignored and forgotten realms of dissonant guitars, skewed pop, awkward rhythms, disjointed melodies, complete chaos and sublime order.  Music ranging from the merely unusual to the truly obscure and strange.

Noise-rock, avant-rock, spazz rock, space rock, no-wave, post-punk, math-rock, experimental / improv...
It's a big world out there, and there's a lot of great music that never gets heard - these are just the bits I like...

The mailing list is dead!
The mailing list has been pretty much entirely neglected over the last year, sorry folks.  Converting playlists to email-friendly text is a bit of a pain sometimes. If you'd like to stay updated on show happenings though, there is also a myspace page and facebook page.
