Makeshift Swahili is a music program on 106.7 PBS-FM, broadcast from
Melbourne, Australia.
I tend to play
lesser-known underground rock - noisy, inventive, unconventional, experimental and eccentric
sounds.
Local demo/ self-released/ unreleased recordings and small label releases
are regularly featured on the show, and from time to time you'll also hear
interviews, live-to-air performances,
and band / label specials.
Does your band fit the bill?

Recording quality is not
super-important. If I like, I play...
Music-based zines are preferable to comics etc. 'cos a) that's what I tend
to read anyway, and b) PBS is a music-based station.
