Hello......I hope you enjoy browsing through my site....call again!!! 

My name is Violet King,  I am a personal  motivational counsellor, and I would be happy to help you to handle any problems you might have in a different way...... if we look at things differently and handle things differently, we will get different results!

I write  articles for several different magazines, here on the Costa Blanca in Spain,  and the topics  listed on the side of the site are typical of the type of articles I write, and those in my book.

In  1999   I retired from work in the UK and moved to Spain. I  had been trained as a motivational counsellor in the UK and had worked with Careline.  My  training   was the Carl Rogers' system of person centred counselling... not giving advice, or telling people what to do, but helping people to take control of their lives. The aim is to encourage clients to realise that by the choices they have made, that is where they are  in life today.

Thinking differently and making different choices definitely produces different results!! ...it applies to all of us! 

Since coming to Spain to live, I have been able to concentrate on the things I enjoy most....my work as a counsellor, hosting self improvement groups,  starting two non smoking  social clubs,  and  writing articles for several monthly magazines here for the English speaking community.

I have also been  interviewed on local  Sol  TV, Viva TV, and  Madrid and Local Radio....

and given talks in local clubs.

 My  book  "Change Your Life....Do It Today" was published in 2006....supplies are getting low, but it is available as an ebook too. (see details on the  index....it can be ordered directly from me via email )... I have had such lovely feedback from many readers.....the purpose of the book was to pass on  the things that I have learned over the years  from inspirational people that have really helped to improve my life and my way of looking at things. 

Perhaps this site would help some of you to see things in your life from a different point of view, and maybe you could make changes in your life....if that is what you would like to do!....

I hope that through the contents of this site you may be inspired to make some changes too!.....
