Hello! Welcome to Majestic Chihuahuas. Located in the foothills of Eastern Kentucky i'm a small full-time hobby breeder, specializing in Chihuahuas. My "kennel" first started with one little long-coat male, and now seems to just keep growing!
I breed only registered, healthy, pedigreed and DNA tested dogs to assure no line or in-breeding occurs. My sires and dams are NOT just "breeders," but are my pets in which I see get the very best of care. I never breed for quantity rather than quality. The puppies health are my number 1 concern.. All of our babies are very small and do at times produce extremely tiny puppies. Majestic Chihuahua's does not breed just for this feature as extremely tiny puppies are sometimes a sign on a genetic defect throughout the line. We also NEVER breed for the merle coloring or putruding "buggy" eye apperance as that is another health defect in alot of Chihuahus as well as an automatic AKC disqualification. When adding a new baby to our program we carefully choose and breed against these and many other defects.
All puppies are well socialized from the minute they are born. They are immediately fully vet checked against any hereditary diseases. Through out the vigorous first few weeks they are watched closely monitoring any sight of abnormality. Once the puppy is sent home you have a 48 hour health guarantee to see your veterinarian. Puppies and adult dogs are never caged/kenneled. They are all inside kept here and are sold to families who plan on keeping them indoors.. no exceptions.
Puppies will leave my home according to progress, usually starting at 6 weeks. I do require deposits on ALL puppies. The deposit can be sent via mail, to my physical address. I prefer it to be paid in a postal money-order form, unless otherwise stated. The deposit has 48 hours to arrive, in which the puppies sale will state "pending." Once the deposit is recieved the puppy is considered "sold." The deposit will only be refunded to you in the case that the puppy becomes ill while in my care, or if I notice a default as to where I feel the puppy isn't ready for a new home yet. I also do accept partial payments, or full payments through-out the wait time.
Once you have placed your deposit on the puppy, you will recieve updates on the progress and weight as well as pictures and video clips often. (Usually daily, unless time permits it from happening).. If you live locally you are also more than welcome to set up a scheduled time to pick out or visit your puppy, throughout the weeks in which it will be held. With the purchase of a puppy, you will recieve varies puppy care kits filled with tons of information regarding the health of your puppy. You will also recieve a full health record, samples of foods, coupons, registration, toys, along with with many other items neatly tucked in your puppies binder. Also, no matter what circumstance - I will always be available to answer questions regarding your puppy - even years down the road.
Please also note, I will NOT ship any of my adult dogs or puppies -no exceptions. Even with todays special precautions, it is not safe to put such a tiny dog in the harm of distress, which is common in the Chihuahua breed.. However, I do sometimes agree to meet within a 200 mile radius for an additional fee. Please feel free to ask if that may be something you are interested in.
As a responsible breeder I keep a limit on the amount that I have and am very thorough on where the puppies go. When considering purchasing the Chihuahua or any other breed, I can't stress the need to search as many resources as possible to better your understanding on the breed. Chihuahuas are tiny statured dogs, sometimes not suitable for the rough-housing of younger children. Also, Long-coats do require extra grooming and care. You may want to take a look at some of your reliable sources to gain more information about this breed.
I do have references and offer a partial refund if the pet is no longer wanted or abused.
