By Air Both Ryanair and Aer Lingus offer a comprehensive service from Dublin to Manchester, 7-days a week. On arrival you can travel on to the city by getting a taxi from the rank in front of the Arrivals Hall or by catching a train from the airport station into Piccadilly. Useful links By Sea Three ferry companies offer passage from Dublin to the UK all-year round: Irish Ferries (Holyhead), Stenaline (Holyhead) and P&O Irish Sea (Liverpool) - although the most practical route is Dublin to Holyhead. Piccadilly to the City of Manchester Stadium The ground is a 20 to 25-minute walk, short bus ride or taxi journey from the centre of Manchester. On Foot
Walk up Market Street on to Piccadilly and continue down the ramp in front of Piccadilly train station.
Turn left under the bridge on to Store Street and continue to the top of the road.
Turn right on to Great Ancoats Street and cross the road at the pedestrian crossing on to Pollard Street.
At the top of Pollard Street, take a right turn on to Merrill Street, which is slightly downhill.
Continue along Merrill Street and cross the road at the traffic lights on to the Ashton New Road.
Proceed up the hill for around a quarter of a mile and you should see the CoMS on your left
By Bus
There's no shortage of buses serving CoMS. Route no.s 216, 217 and 230 - 237 depart from Piccadilly Gardens every few minutes. On matchdays many bus companies run "match specials", which go straight to the ground. Fares range from 50p to £1 depending on the bus company. By Taxi There's a taxi rank outside the Arndale Centre on High Street and also outside Piccadilly station. A typical fare should be in the region of £6 - £8.
