New classes are always starting

Ohana Hula School teaches all ages, both children and adults are welcome. All experience levels, from beginner to advanced, are welcome!

Regular Class Schedule

Children's Classes:
  • Wed. 4-5 PM Ages 4-10

Adult Classes:
  • Wed. 6-7 PM Ages 11 and up
  • Sat. 11-12 PM Adults

Our students learn:

  • Basic Hula Steps
  • Hawaiian Crafts
  • Language
  • Use of implements 
    (Such as the Ipu and Pu'ili)
  • Hawaiian Culture

Keikis (children) of the Ohana Hula School are special.  Each keiki learns her name in Hawaiian.

Class Structure and Props

We will begin with technique, working on many basic steps and movements.
From there we will work on learning a beautiful dance. With some dances we will be using ipu, pu'ili, dowels and even poi balls!

Costumes and implements are provided (to use) at the school and at the recitals and shows.

Performances

Ohana Hula School offers opportunities for the students to share what they've learned with the community. They perform at birthdays, parties, corporate functions, nursing homes, school programs, fundraisers and luaus.

Classes & Prices

There are a variety of class skill levels available and new classes are starting all the time. Call or email to find out which class would be best for you.

Private class: $30, Semi Private: $20, Regular Class: $13.

Children 12 & Under: $10 per class, $40 for the month.
