Magnus Sodalitas is Latin for
"The Great Society," named for Pope John Paul the Great. We are a group of
students at Powers who enjoy discussing the deep, intellectual side of
Catholicism. I've heard people say "What intellectual side to
Catholicism?" To that I respond:
seek and you will find (
Mt. 7:7).
If you want to see how intellectual a bunch of high school Catholics
can get about Catholicism, come to our
next meeting. Magnus Sodalitas
is open to anyone willing to participate in an
intellectual discussion of Catholic Christian theology, regardless of their
beliefs.
However, Magnus is a Catholic group and will remain that way. By "Catholic" we mean... well,
