From the bottom of our heart...THANK YOU for visiting our web page. God is truly doing some wonderful things in and through our church. He is blessing us daily from the rich store-houses of His great love and mercy. He has brought to our hearts a genuine attitude of excitement and expectation. Since it is Him who is blessing so abundantly, we are making every effort to ensure that it is He who gets all the honor and praise. We also are redoubling our efforts to make sure that we are in a position spiritually to continue to receive from His bountiful hand.
We are located in the very beautiful and attractive town of Theodore, Alabama. Every where you look, there is beauty; especially in some of the largest and oldest oak trees found anywhere. It is our deepest prayer and desire that part of what makes Theodore so beautiful and attractive is our church. There seems to be few places left in the world where life in the community centers around the Lord's house.
Magnolia Springs Baptist Church has a tremendous amount of potential. She is very mission minded, has a huge loving heart, with dedicated staff and members. Her brightest attribute is her desire to serve God in a way that is in accordance with His Word and thus pleasing to Him. If you ever find yourself in Theodore, Al stop in and visit with us. For nearly as long as there has been a Theodore, Al. there has been a Magnolia Springs Baptist Church. In fact, records show that one of the first schools in Theodore met in the facilities of Magnolia Springs Baptist Church. One is simply amazed when they consider how much has changed from the time of one room schools to the present. One thing that has not changed is our God. He is complete perfection! As perfection cannot be improved upon, it stands to reason that God need not nor cannot change. Another thing that has not changed is man's greatest need. Since the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, the greatest need of humanity has been salvation! Salvation is the only means where the relationship with God, broken by sin, can be re-entered. Lastly, what has not changed is the message as how one may be saved. If all that remains unchanged, then so is the mission of this church unchanged. To proclaim the message of God's great gift of salvation, to baptize those who accept this gift, and to teach the truths of God's Holy Word.
