The purpose of this section is to answer some of the basic questions that can be raised when considering magnet therapy or a nutritional supplement.
A simple explanation of MV Dr Vaclavek's theory.
Our body has evolved to maintain and heal itself and to do so optimally requires a balanced input of fuel (food, water and oxygen). Too much, too little, or polluted forms of any of these three will have a dreadful effect on the body's ability to repair itself and perform at its best. The blood is instrumental in this process.
Some indications of a self maintenance programme not working as well as it might could be: lack of enery, injuries taking a long time to heal, pain in joints, etc.
MV Dr Vaclavek states much of the body's stress, inflammation and pain is due to an excess of lactic acid, produced by the body, causing an imbalance in pH levels (Acidosis). He asserts that to help the body maintain a natural balance requires a combination of the appropriate magnet technology and a proper pH balance in your diet. This increases energy levels and aids recovery.
Why can't I use any old magnet?
Magnotherapy (magnet therapy) has been used to improve health in the Far East and other areas of the world for thousands of years. Physiotherapists in many hospitals use magnetic fields as an aid to improving health and reducing pain. Levels of success have varied greatly dependent upon many factors including: the strength and type of magnetic technology employed, the methods of measurement, the condition being treated, etc.

Can either Bioflow or Nutriflow do me any harm?
BIOFLOW products are perfectly safe, but should not be worn by anyone fitted with a heart pacemaker. All ingredients of NUTRIFLOW are at a maximum 20% of R.D.A. What do Bioflow and Nutriflow actually do?

He further suggests that NUTRIFLOW and BIOFLOW precisely mimic the natural flush of wastes and toxins from cells, performed by the potassium/sodium pump. I already take mineral supplements, why should I take Nutriflow?
The availability of colloidal minerals is very important for health but is not the function of NUTRIFLOW. You can continue to take other supplements but we suggest not within two hours of NUTRIFLOW as this could reduce its effectiveness.
How and when should I take Nutriflow?
On a daily basis and we would recommend immidiately after, or within one hour of a meal. Simply mix one scoop in a glass of water and stir. NUTRIFLOW is activated by water and we would suggest you drink whilst still 'fizzing'. According to taste, you can add pure orange juice. Some people can find their bowel movements become 'looser' and others can become a little constipated. Isn't Nutriflow the same as other Isotonic energy drinks used to increase the speed of recovery after sports?
No. The benefits of magnet therapy are the result of a stabilisation of pH, which is triggered by magnetic energy. Diet and electrolyte minerals are important in controlling pH. Most body stress and inflammation, together with the resultant pain, is caused by an imbalance in pH levels of different tissues of the body. Magnotherapy and Red Blood Cells.
These are red blood cells. They look like a doughnut without the hold and carry oxygen to the body and remove carbon dioxide from the body. There are about 5 million per cubic millimeter of blood.
This picture shows a "coinroll formation". The red blood cells are stuckstuck together which greatly diminishes the free surface of each blood cell which can absorb oxygen and nourishment. This sticky substance is 'fibrin'.

Central Reverse Polarity & Relay Magnets.
CENTRAL REVERSE POLARITY (C.R.P.)® magnets are superior to any other static magnet because they are specifically designed to move electrons. Are There Any Fitting Instructions?
It is not necessary to wear these products strapped closely to your wrist.
All Bioflow models are water-resistant - not water-proof. It would, therefore, be advisable to take it off before bathing or swimming.
BIOSPORT & CLASSIC: Wear around the wrist with the magnet module on the inside of the wrist.
BIOSPORT: To remove the magnet module, first turn the sweatband inside out and place it on a flat surface. Hold the edge of the blue disk and turn it in the direction of the 'Open' arrow. Simply lift the disk from the magnetic unit and apply slight pressure to remove the unit. Reverse this procedure to re-install the module, which should be worn with the Atom Logo on the outside.
ACTIVE, ADVENTURE, ELITE, EXECUTIVE, EXPLORER 2, PIROUETTE: The magnet module may be worn on the inside or outside of the wrist.
FINESSE: Wear loosely on the wrist. The magnet module may be worn at any point around the wrist.
DUET, DUO & MONET: Designed to be worn loosely with the magnet modules on the inside of the wrist. When fitting or removing, do not apply undue pressure to the magnet modules. Please note the Duo, not being plated inside, may produce a naturally occurring green or black deposit on the skin. This is due to the deposition of copper. Simply wash this from the skin with soap and water.
ELITE: To adjust,
- Open the clasp by means of a small screwdriver inserted into the slot. (Do not lever against the small bar as this well cause damage to the clasp.)
- Move the clasp housing along the strap to lengthen or shorten the strap as desired.
- Closure of the clasp housing is the reverse of Step 1, taking care with the screwdriver not to damage the small bar. In some cases the clasp may be closed by applying downward pressure with the thumb.
To securely fasten, place the inner hook over the bar before clicking the clasp shut.
EXECUTIVE: The first time you fit an Executive, lift the metal holder with the 'Bioflow' Logo so that it can move freely along the leather strap, and put the pin in the required hold before snapping the metal quick-release device shut. After fitting, you can remove the Executive by simply releasing the strap from the leather holders and pulling on the end to activate the quick-release device. It can then be fitted again without adjustment by snapping the quick-release device into place. Please make sure that the hinge is not bent back on itself when closing or opening the quick-release device, as this can cause permanent damage to the buckle mechanism.
PIROUETTE: An extra link can be provided to fit all sizes. To lengthen the bracelet, simply open the clasp of the extra section and fasten the clasp around the end of the undone braclet, making sure that the small bar fits flush into the groove of the clasp as it is closed.
How Long Do They Take To Work?
Improvements will normally be noticed within hours or days, but as you will appreciate all our bodies are different and thus we achieve different results - some people will take longer than others will. Occasionally, especially with more severe pain, it may take the full 3 months trial period for significant benefits to be felt, so PLEASE BE PATIENT. Very occasionally, a customer will report dizziness, nausea or even 'flu-like symptoms' when first wearing their Bioflow. This is generally very rare and will soon pass. They are nothing to worry about but can be disturbing. It is actually the start of your Bioflow going to work to detoxify your body. The severity depends on the amount of toxins in your body which need to be removed. If you experience any of these symptoms, simply remove your Bioflow until the discomfort passes and gradually increase the time you wear the Bioflow. We also strongly recommend that you drink at least six glasses of water per day to allow the filtration of toxins. Some people wear their Bioflow only at night for the first few days to enable their body to get used to the change without experiencing any discomfort. After a few days the 'withdrawal' symptoms should subside and the Bioflow can then be worn as desired.
What If It Doesn't Help Me?
If you feel that your Bioflow may not seem as effective as when you first put it on, remember that the mind gets used to conditions very quickly. Think back to the terrible pain you felt before you wore the Bioflow. Once you felt better, it was easy to forget just how bad the pain was! If this happens, take it off for a couple of hours until the pain returns - then put it back on!!

Which Bioflow Should I Try?

Experience has shown that for people, although the Classic is effective in over 80% of cases, in some instances they only provide partial relief. If your budget will extend to an Explorer 2, Duo, Duet, Monet, Executive or evan an Elite, Finesse, Pirouette or Ascot (each with a deeper, more penetrating field) then added benefit might be obtained.
For extreme cases, we recommend the Boost Belt Kit in which you can have up to six (three pairs of two) very powerful magnetic modules and is designed to be applied directly to the area of discomfort. This product provides the greatest benefit to where it is needed most.
How Should I Wear a Bioflow?
We recommend that if wearing any of the wristbands, you keep the main magnet module on the underside of the wrist where there is a good flow of blood near the surface. Products with a Relay Magnet (Explorer 2, Executive, Elite, Pirouette, Finesse) may be worn with the module on either side of the wrist. We suggest you wear the Bioflow continually until you feel a benefit and then either during the day or at night. It is whatever you find the most effective.
Alternatively, on a more temporary basis, they can be applied directly on, or close to, the point of discomfort with surgical tape or a tubigrip bandage. We have customers who wear their Bioflow on their wrist during the day and tucked behind their knee or around their ankle at night. Some people have found that the unit works better on one wrist than the other, so please experiment to find what works best for you.
If you feel that your Bioflow has helped you pain but you still get pain from time to time when you over-do things, you may just need a 'boost' of extra relief. How Can I Clean My Bioflow and its Strap?
Metal products should be wiped clean with a soft, lint-free cloth. All other wristbands can be wiped using a damp cloth. For best results, the Biosport wristbands should be dry cleaned, but they can be hand washed or machine washed at cool temperatures. The module must be removed before cleaning. Wash dark colours separately. The sweatbands should be washed alone for the first few washes.
