Pontardawe compete in Division 5 of the South West Wales ASDA League. The nucleus of the Pontardawe team is very young. The two Head Coaches are Mal Jones and Steve Rees and Team Manager is Mark Jones. Captain for the season 2006/7 is Nigel Williams.
Over the years Pontardawe RFC has produced a number of first-class rugby players and coaches. In 2007 we celebrate their 125th year of being a WRU member club. This year we are having all kinds of events and fundraisers. We will be playing two games this season against Professional Opponents, The Ospreys and The Scarlets.
