Heath & Candace Hawkins are members of First Baptist Church in Dixon, Missouri where they share their gifts in many ministries.
Heath Hawkins is middle school computer teacher. He also received his education at Hannibal-LaGrange College in Hannibal, MO. He is also very active working with his wife in the children’s department at Dixon First Baptist Church.
Candace Hawkins is the full-time Director of Children at Dixon FBC. Her Bachelors degree in Theatre Arts from Hannibal-LaGrange College comes in handy as she leads a weekly children’s church and other programs for kids. Her role as Children’s Director requires careful management of all children’s programs and allows her the opportunity to work extensively with the children of our community.
Together they strive to put Christ at the front of their lives, in the drivers seat so to speak. Their background in theatre and performing arts was a great lead into a ministry in creative arts. They love using the gifts that they have been blessed with. They are proud of the message they have to offer. The message is presented in a non-denominational way, but the strong message of salvation is part of every program.
Statement of Faith
Our goal is to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the great news of Jesus Christ in a unique way. e will unashamedly declare Jesus Christ as Lord through whatever creative avenue open to us. Be it Christian illusion, puppets, clowning, music or games--God has trusted us in the area of performance ministry. It is our purpose to use those gifts to expand his kingdom.
