Magic The Gathering Cards

This site is for those who are curious about playing Magic, but are a bit intimidated by the immense amount of information out there.  This site will not give you details on how to play, but will attempt to teach you the thought process behind playing and touch on the very basic strategy and highlight a few key cards from each set.  We will implement a glossary of the very basic terms so that those of us who don't play can at least know what is going on.  If you are looking for advanced strategy this is not your site

Is anyone here around a lot of Magic Players sometimes, or even often, and you have very little or no idea what they are talking about?  Would you like to be able to speak about the most common items at least?  Are you just curious about the game and wonder what all the fuss is about?  Well those are some of the very things I hope to clear up for those not included in the 15,000,000+ magic players around the world.  They could more then populate most any city in the world if they ever got together!

I work for a website called Troll and Toad, and am around Magic players constantly as you could well imagine.  These are not just any Magic players either, they are some of the most in-tune people in the industry.  Most magic players are what are known as "casual players", these guys buy, sell, trade and play the game.  So you can imagine how much can be picked up from the outside looking in.  This is the information we would like to convey on this small site.

Welcome to kindergarten for MTG.  For those who need to know a term, please check out the glossary, I am trying to compile a complete glossary.  Any terms not in the glossary, please post on the blog and I will get the definition up asap!
