This album again features some stunning piano work including the title track ‘Music Matters To Me’. Again a lot of the tracks on this particular album are dedicated to my own musical experiences; for example ‘Out For The Count’ inspired by the great Count Basie; ‘Bach With Bite’ to my favourite composer Bach; ‘Euro Visionary’ to all those Eurovision Song Contest entries over the years. My favourite track on here has to be though ‘Tokyo’ for its interesting mix of Eastern sounds and Western influences and is my personal vision of how a vibrant capital city would be.
