This album marked my journey into the film score genre, featuring as it does some memorable film score type tracks. My favourite has to be the unmistakable ‘Magic Box’, the title track, which has since become somewhat of a key song to represent Magician. Worthy of a mention too are ‘Out There’ inspired by one of my favourite series the X-Files; also ‘Sherwood’ having the feel of Robin Hood and his merry men in the forest; ‘Keystone’ is my tribute to those silent movies of old, featuring such favourites as the Keystone Cops, Laurel & Hardy, and of course Charlie Chaplin.
