Biography
Quentin Tarantino was born in the year of 1963, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Quentin's name was discovered in a famous TV show called Gunsmoke. Burt Reynolds was the character in the TV show that Tarantino was named after. Quentin's single mom decided to migrate when he was about two years old, they ended up moving to the South Bay area South of Los Angeles. The neighborhood that he lived in had a mixture of black and white folks and was exposed to a wide range of martial art films, which were a fad in the sixties and seventies. School was kept to a minimum for Tarantino because he decided to quit school at the age of seventeen and begin taking acting lessons. Tarantino worked odd jobs to support himself and to pay for his acting lessons. His first movie was Reservoir Dogs, which was a big success, It was released in 1991 and has become a classic. The whole movie was shot in a month out in Los Angeles and had a great cast. Quentin Tarantino always had the goal of being an actor and has continued to play roles in his own movies.
One of Quentin Tarantino's quotes is: " I think there is far less artistry in the casting of most mainstream movies than there should be."

Tarantino also uses the same names in different movies such as: Vincent, Dimmick and Marvin which appear in both Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
