INVOCATION

Almighty God, Ruler of the universe and Father of mankind, we adore and worship You in truth and in spirit.

Grant us your loving kindness and forgive our shortcomings.

May we walk with You, oh Lord through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, so that this philatelic undertaking dubbed as QUEZONPEX 3 will be according to your will.

In Jesus Christ, our Lord we pray. Amen.

WELCOME ADDRESS

“ I have often wished I had the time to enter a philatelic exhibition. I did make an effort a few years back when the Great Britain Philatelic Society announced that for their Golden Jubilee they would allow photocopies of stamps from overseas entries.

My point being that to enter exhibitions overseas, or in your own country for that matter, requires a lot of planning just to get the material to the exhibition, and a lot of planning and hardwork on the part of the organizers to get material safely and securely displayed for the public to see. Often I think people don’t enter for that very reason and the number of exhibitions is limited to once a year in major cities, and then only for a few days at a time.

So what a brilliant idea to have a “ Virtual Exhibition ” using the internet as the exhibition hall, and us exhibitors just sending a few files which can be displayed in exhibition format on web site. The display is easily loaded to the web site and is available to us all, wherever we are in the world, everyday.

Congratulations go to Alberto for the creativity of this idea and his perseverance in bringing it to a reality for so many of us exhibitors, and I hope, so many more stamp collectors around the world.

I was very pleased that Alberto asked me to co-sponsor the exhibition. I think what we see on this web site are some excellent displays and I am sure Alberto and his colleagues will chose wisely when giving awards of merit and participation.

I look forward to seeing more people send in displays in the coming months so we can see more collections, and us all value yet another medium to enjoy this wonderful hobby."
