Actor, Model, Dancer, Philanthropist

In five short years, the beguiling 15 year-old Madison Lindstrom has accumulated numerous credits as a dancer, actress, model, & philanthropist.  Currently, Madison is working on a documentary, a Made For TV Movie, and co-authoring her book with a New York Times Best Selling Author due to be released in 2010.

 

Madison's other credits include print campaigns for Sears, and international children’s retailer, Vertbaudet to dancing with the Alberta Dance Theatre, being featured in Paul Brandt's Music Video "Risk", Canada's #1 teen Magazine "Faze", to parts in several films.  She was a Featured Speaker at Humanity Unites Brilliance - HUB "Awakening Your Brilliance" conference in Los Angeles August 22^nd to 24^th, which included guest speakers "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" author John Gray and drummer, Mark Schulman (Cher, Pink, Sheryl Crow and more). In September 2008, Madison was a Featured Speaker at the "Awakening Your Brilliance" conference held in Calgary, AB Canada along with Janet Attwood, author of "The Passion Test, Frank Maguire, Inspirational speaker and former VP of FedEx Worldwide, just to name a few...

 

Madison’s winning combination of talent and an upbeat personality serve her well, and she impressed judges at the influential ITP Showcase  (International Talent and Performers) where she won several first place trophies as well as "2005 Model of the Year"  (ages 15 and under).  ITP is attended by industry notables like choreographer-dancers Ryan Rankine and Donyelle Jones from the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance and sizzling choreographer JaeBlaze.

 

Years of dance, modeling, and acting training led to Madison pursuing competitions as a means to showcase her talent.  She has won multiple awards in pageants and walked away with the crowns for Miss PreTeen Calgary 2006 and the national pageant, Miss PreTeen Canada 2006.

 

Born in British Columbia in 1994, Madison, a Native American and Canadian Métis of Cherokee descent on her Mother’s side, she lived in Calgary for most of her life.  As a young child, Madison’s creativity was channelled into dance lessons and after several years Madison’s mother finally gave in to her daughter's desire to perform upon realization that performing is Madison's true calling, not a whim, and later relocated to Toronto to further Madison's dream.

 

In Toronto she continued with her training and had the opportunity to study dance with well-known choreographer/dancer Chantelle Leonardo, and JaeBlaze.  Between the two of them, they have worked with Nelly Furtado, Black Eyed Peas, Nelly, Sean Paul, Rolling Stones, Shaggy, Foxy Brown, Shawn Desman, Vicki Winans, Lil Romeo, Jully Black, Gloria Gaynor and Ja Rule.   She also studied with JaeBlaze.

 

In many ways, Madison is a typical teenager, listening to Hilary Duff’s latest CD and devouring the re-runs of the Suite Life of Zack & Cody, despite the lofty highs and not so typical experiences of winning regional and national pageant crowns, winning dance and modeling awards, studying with elite dancers & choreographers and receiving attention from major media outlets around the world such as Croatian National TV, Canada A.M., Breakfast Television, Global TV, CTV, Calgary Herald, Calgary Sun, Lite 96 Radio, AM 770 CHQR Radio, 680 News Radio.....

 

Madison's passion and excitement continues to grow with all the opportunities and projects that come her way, yet is quick to point out that pursuing your dreams requires a vision, commitment, and working smart.  "I've always known that working towards your dream, any dream, can be challenging and very rewarding; it’s all worth it when you achieve your goal and fulfill your dream. Ever since I can remember this is the only thing I have ever wanted to do." 

 

Madison is the Founder & Spokesperson for "Project Rags To Riches" a philanthropy project for those facing the challenges of being homeless, living in poverty, and domestic violence. As well, she is a CDN Founding Arc Angel with Humanity Unites Brilliance "HUB"; a new paradigm for exponential giving that creates abundance for all through sustainable abundance for yourself, your community, and our world.  It is a way to connect with other like-minded people.

 

Currently, Madison is traveling between her home base of Canada and Los Angeles, CA.
