Madeline to appear in new modern-day "Cinderella"
Madeline has just began filming the Warner Bros film for 2004 called a Cinderella story with Hilary Duff. Maddie plays the wicked and funny stepsister Brianna. Hillary Duff plays a dorky high school student who suddenly becomes the center of attention as the result of her makeover.
Theatrical Release July 16, 2004.

::Madeline Zima has been cast to play a teen-aged Lucille Ball in a upcoming movie/mini-series for CBS for 2003. This is a period piece were Madeline will play the "I Love Lucy" star from ages 13 to 18 and is scripted to film a scene with a teen-aged Bette Davis with whom Lucy went to drama school with. For the role Madeline will have to cut her long hair in a bob. The movie is tenatively titled the "I Love Lucy" movie or "Redhead". An early release for the upcoming movie states it will be an "inside account of the celebrated, complex, passionate and tumultuous relationship between Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz... [who] enthralled American audiences who couldn't get enough of the fiery redhead or her sexy Cuban husband. But off camera, the situation couldn't have been less comedic. Backstage battles, oversized egos and the demands of phenomenal success undermined what was once a storybook romance." Filming is to begin in January.
