Ryan Marshall

 

Ryan Marshall is the "M" of The MAC Phoundation.  He has been teaching in "Urban" schools since 1998.  He received his BA in English from Alabama A & M University in 2000.  Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Ryan's desire has always been to help and teach children from the same area he grew up in.  Ryan has taught in Inkster, MI; Detroit, MI; Charlotte and Concord, NC.  He currently lives in Charlotte, NC, where he resides with his wife Melanee, his son Hayden, and his daughter Amarra.   

 

  

GranVille Caldwell 

 

GranVille Caldwell is the “C” of The MAC Phoundation.  He received his BA in English Literature from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) in 1995; he received his Master of Education from Marygrove College (Detroit, MI) in 2000.  Previous to teaching, he worked for Northwest Airlines as a navigation computer technician for eleven years.  During his employment and stay in Minnesota, he remained a committed agent of change as a United Way Volunteer—Big Brother and speaker—and as a volunteer for National Conference for Community and Justice, serving as a camp counselor and advisor.  He has taught in Taylor Public Schools (MI), Inkster Public Schools (MI), and Detroit Public Schools.  He is currently an English teacher at Harding University HS, located in Charlotte, NC.  He is married and father of three.
