Current Church Rates

As a home missions pastor I need a source of income other than the church I pastor. In the past few years I have worked with HTML and graphic design on computers. While working on the net, I noticed that, though the American Bible Society has offered free web space to churches (forministry.com), few take advantage of it.

There may be various reasons for this such as . . .

• Lack of knowledge of HTML
• Lack of time
• Lack of manpower
• Lack of resources

Therefore I wish to offer my services to you as a webservant for your church. I highly recommend that churches establish at least 2 sites so that the public will be more likely to hear about your church. Sometimes sites "go down" and are inaccessible at times. I can establish 2 sites for you for an initial fee of $35.00 and thereafter maintain the sites for $25.00/month (for a total of one hour work each month on your sites). By "maintain" I mean that I will post new information (such as schedules) you send to me about your church, make improvements, register your site in free search engines, and other things as time permits. Not bad for making your church available to the world wide web, and, especially to your community.

If you would rather go with one site then we will do that for you too. For one site an initial fee of $25.00 is requested and thereafter $15.00/month ( ½ hour ) to maintain the site, but not as aggressive as the other rate unless you do want me to work on it for a full hour per month.

Regardless, after initial setups, the hourly rate for churches will be $25.00/hr.

I personally did the background for the front page of the last two sites listed. Your church web site does not have to be fashioned after these styles. You can have a continuing left hand menu (like Forministry.com for example) if you wish among other options.

The above sites were originally created in HTML 3. As of October 2002, any new pages that I created were in HTML 4.0. As of January 27, 2003 this page was, and future pages will be created in XHTML. As time permits, I will redo the former pages in XHTML. This page you are now reading was upgraded to HTML 4.0 on October 7, 2002 and to XHTML on January 27, 2003.
