The Story
With the unexpected and untimely death of the head
of the godfather the leading mafia of X city practically
disintegrated into nothing. With only 6 members left to
exact revenge and to raise the once powerful Cartona
family to its former status it will be no easy task. They
must find out who ordered and carried out the hit against
there god father and then find and kill them all to show all
of X city that they are serious about making a comeback.
Yet much has changed since their godfather has died, and
many of the godfather’s methods were considered too
conservative. If you want to have any chance to reclaim
X City than you must adapt to the increasing demand for
the new drugs entering the market. Plus there’s the other
factions of you old Family that are trying to do the same
exact thing as you, so it’s not going to be an easy task
but if you are successful the rewards will be in the millions...

where the story continues from...-
As Borris Vlaskikov, the personal aid if Rafael Cartona, arranged
a fair deal with with Misha Kovalenko. An assasination of a very
dangerous woman, in order to gain the Russians trust.
When all was said and done, Maria, Donny, and Fab are dead...
As Maria was finally killed off, Rem's group got dropped off.
They entered the house, and the woman grabbed a knife,
threw it straight at Donny. He didn't even see it coming,
hit him square in the head. Fab followed as the woman grabbed Maria's gun,
and shot the man 4 times... Rem, Borris, Nathan, and Jaffar came in, and shot the Shit out of the woman...
She wasn't no threat no more. The bodies were all left there, but before they exited, a final act was made. Borris grabbed a Rather large chunk of explosives, and set it in the house. After going off 10 blocks, a hidiously large explosion shook the ground, with something that almost resembled a mushroom cloud.
The act has been made. Borris looked at the rest of his crew, or what was left, and asked them to join the mob that he has in mind. They were confused, but after a brief call that was on speaker, all of them agreed, not much sense in serving the Cartona... A now dead Cartona.
2AM, at the docks... The Greenich tanker is carrying the drug load that must weigh in at several million dollars. Most of the mobs were setup, everyone was in position. The Homesteads, LaGrange, and even the Imperial Guard were present. Outside of the large mobs knowledge, several of a new emerging family were there to scout. All of the mobs representitives came, and the unloading had begun. Moments after the first rack of cocaine touched the ground, shots rang through the night. No one had any idea who, what, or where it was. An Imperial noticed some sort of line developing on one side... As if men were running out and creating a line, all of them carrying something.
Two minutes later, all of the mafia members who were there, were shot. A massive amount of 3,000 rounds were fired from the various heavy machineguns that were lined up for the slaughter... The Russians' machineguns.
All of the families panicked, and everyone blamed everyone else... This is the Legacy of Vlaskikov.
This is where you come in. You are all up and coming Mafia members, under the LaGrange family, an American mafia... The only family who has anything left
in them to fight back the Russians.
Notes:
You are all members of an American family, so adjust your nationalities if you were thinking of others. Russians are out of question, unless you have a really good reason. Note that your equipment will be given to you. You may write up any feasable personal items, eg: mini-bible, cross, lighter, pen, cell phone, glasses, etc...
Skills
There are two types of Skills Major skills and Minor skills I will award points for each type after each episode.
Major Skills
Agility- The ability to move fast is useful for dodging arms fire quickly closing the gap between you and your enemy so that you can engage in melee combat. This skill also helps in your ability to move quietly around your enemy.
Strength- The ability to quickly take out your enemies in close combat, Also increases the amount of melee combat damage you can take, but arms fire damage is unaffected by this attribute.
Influence- This ability affects your sway with people among your profession. If you hold enough sway and power you can get what you want without a fight. And the higher the sway the more respect you get from the community and the less likely you are to get murdered if captured.
Alertness- This Skill affects your ability to detect people around you. This skill should be a must be for those trying to stay alive or to avoid assassination or when you want to be able to sneak into compounds.
Minor Skills
Accuracy- This skill enables you to become more accurate with guns, and increases the chance that you will hit an aimed target, for example if you want to aim for the head to get an instant quite kill it increases the chances of that happening or if you want to shoot out there knees so as to immobilize your victim but not kill them.
Weapons Skill- this ability increases your knowledge of melee weapons and pistols and your ability to use them, the higher your weapons skill the more shots or swings you can pull off in one turn with your sword or your Glock.
Driving- This ability allows you to drive get away cars quicker and with a lesser chance or crashing, and at the higher skill levels you can drive more complex machinery, such as a helicopter or boats, you can also hot wire stolen cars at a faster rate.
Acumen- at the end of each episode when the cash is split up the higher acumen player will receive a higher paycheck (don’t worry the money between the rest of you wont be split up into smaller amounts). Also a higher acumen player will be able to buy items at a lower price than other players (not all items are bought, some are stolen or picked up from dead bodies).
Adrenaline- In the heat of battle this option can be turned on to decrease the effects of any damage you take and to make you run and shoot faster, the higher the skill the longer it lasts and the stronger the effects. Also you don’t take a stop one-turn effect when you get hit.
Medical knowledge- If you get hit in battle there’s no way to heal your wound yourself and if you leave the wound the way it is it could limit your movement or accuracy, or if shoot in the face or chest could slowly drain your health.
Professions
There are also professions that you can choose to lead, think of it as a specialization, you gain one attribute but lose another.
Godfathers son- There can only be one of these so first come first serve. Your influence is increased by 3 points and your alertness and acumen are increased by 1. You also have 1.5x HP. You cannot drive or use any gun larger than a Pistol, and has minus 2 weapon skill. WARNING, if the godfather’s son dies everybody gets minus 2 influence.
Hit man- The hit man has Plus 3 accuracy and weapons skill and plus one agility and alertness, and you’re the only one who can use the sniper rifle. But you have minus 3 influence and minus 2 strength, and you don’t get your split of the pot and the end of each episode, you instead get money based on how many kills you’ve acquired
Fat Tony- Fat Tony is the godfathers personal aid, so he gets plus 2 influence, strength and medical knowledge, he also get plus 1 acumen, driving and accuracy, but he also gets minus 2 agility and alertness and minus 1 adrenaline and weapon skill. Also due to his food cravings at the end of each episode he loses $100.
Thug- The usual suspect. Has plus 2 strength and alertness and plus 1 accuracy and weapon skill he also carries a Glock and 4 ammo clips but has minus 2 medical knowledge, agility and influence.
Informant- The one who knows everything and anything about mob activities. Gets a plus 2 influence, plus 2 adrenaline, plus 1 agility and 1 alertness. Informants also sprint 2x as far. You do get a minus 2 strength, weapons skills, and acumen.
The Rock- The Rock gets plus 3 strength and adrenaline. The Rock also ignores pain from wounds in combat, and becomes better as he gets hurt. Driving, medical knowledge, weapon skills, are all decreased by 2.
Explosives/Fire expert- He gets plus 3 weapons skills 2 agility and access to any explosive you can think of… Except Plutonium… He gets minus 3 alertness, minus 1 adrenaline and minus 2 strength.
Previous Soldier- Ah, yes, well taught in the art of killing. The soldier has a +2 weapon skills, +1 drive, +1 accuracy, +1 agility, +1 alertness. Down side is -3 acumen, -2 influence, and is scarcely trusted. (OPTIONAL FOR SOLDIER: Soldier may be higher ranking, reaching tighter places. The soldier can be from Viet. The Soldier has access to Heavy equipment if higher ranking, but if caught, the Army will be after your 6!)
Medic- Medic get Auto +5 in Medical knowledge and Can heal in battle. Medic also gets +1 adrenaline and +3 Agility. Medic gets a -2 Weapons Skill, Accuracy, and Strength. (OPTIONAL FOR MEDIC: Medic may be a previous US Army Combat Medic. This allows for an army ourfit in possession (bullet proof vest, combat gear, etc.), and adds +2 to Weap skills, Accuracy and +1 to Strength.
Negative effect is that the army is hunting for you, and receive -1 acumen and influence.
Game mechanics additions:
The game's guns now get dirty, since there is some residue build-up from shooting.
Of course, this can be easily remedied by buying a rather cheap cleaning kit and
saying that you clean the damn thing - the effectiveness of the cleaning depends on
what amount of time you spend on it, which can be 10 minutes to several hours of
maticulous cleaning.
How fouling works is simple. It totally depends on the amount of bullets you fire.
Simply put, a couple of rounds woundn't do much at all but a belt of 200 would
really make it dirty. Recommended is mostly quick cleans,
and a reall good clean once in a while.
Creating a character
Please include:
Name
Background
Skills (You start out with 5 major skill points and 9 minor skill points, each skill gets maxed out at 5 skill points)
Choose a profession, if any.
All players start with $200 (except the godfathers son)
Choose your Items (you can add non-weapon items to the list as long as your creative and stay in character I will probably OK them) For example: Lock pick, Bible, Flashlight.
Choose your mob affiliation (Russian, Chinese, Italian, ECT, ECT) This one need not apply to the godfathers son.
Physical appearance- Height weight and scars ECT.
Any other side notes to take into account, for example gets mad when his mother is talked about. The more creative you get the more likely I am to choose you.
Extra notes
BE CREATIVE. If you notice somebody else has chosen similar attributes switch it up. I will choose 6 people originally and will add more as the story moves on or people die. If you have any tips don’t be shy speak up.
