Phone Books! Only use newer phone books. In approximately 2005 the FDA passed a law that the ink in newspaper and phone books must be non toxic. Drill a Hole in the Phone book and hang it in the cage.

2 x 4 Natural untreated pine. (home depot of lowes) Sisal Rope: Use a large drill bit and Drill holes every 6 to 8 inches. Cut up the pieces and string them on the sisal rope. Tie a knot between each piece, Tie the top to the cage .

Dollar Stores Carry the following items (and More):

Untreated Wicker craft wreaths.

Wiffle Balls in different sizes and colors.

Non Toxic Popsickle sticks and tounge depressers in many non toxic colors.

Michaels or JoAnn Fabrics (any fabric or craft store) will carry white or color soft plastic chain.

You can also use strips of cotton fabric or fleece fabric, although you should not leave your birds unattended with any type of cotton rope or any Fabric. Do not put in cages.

Untreated Bamboo or Wicker baskets can be dressed up and hung in the cage for foot toys. and are chewable.

Coffee Filters, Muffin Cups

For smaller birds the plastic storage baskets make good toys, do not leave unattended with chewers. They can potentially chew a hole in the basket and get their head stuck.
